The Falkirk Wheel, Genius Engineering Meets Striking Appearance

The Falkirk Wheel is the world’s first, and only rotating boat lift. It allows for uninterrupted canal travel between Edinburgh and Glasgow, and it uses some genius engineering, to lift huge weights, with very little energy expenditure.
