Been a Ranger fan my entire life , Theo is definitely top 5 favorite players eitherway, but those 3 years with the Rangers, He solidified his legend . Completely off his rocker, unhinged even , and still scoring like the sniper he is,. Hell one year, 00/01 he had 30 goals and 216 pim! Thank You for the memories Theo! Should be in the HOF by now....

Agree 100% he may have had off ice issues back in his playing days and for what we now know a very sad reason. I look at what he has done after his playing days. He has done so much to help people. As for him as a player he was amazing and yet he was fighting so many inner demons. He still played at such a level with all of his emotional pain. I have always been a Detroit fan but was always intrigued by Theo because how good he was for his size.

Met him at Walter Gretzky ball hockey tournament. I had a mini Canada Jersry and his team Canada card to sign for my son who was just born. I told him he was awesome and an honour to meet him. He was like really? He seemed out of it or didn't think people cared about him iduno. Walter then told me to talk with some Fox guy that played in LA not sure said he was a great player in the 80s 90s.

Fleury saying the flames traded him to create seperation from him as a ticking timebomb is pure bullshit. He wanted the big money and thats all it was. He never takes responsibility for his bad behaviour as an adult or putting other children in danger with the Hitmen. He doesn't take responsibility for how he treated his family. Obviously what happened to him as a child was terrible, but it never should be used as a crutch to be a shitty human when youre older.

Its a damn crime that this man isn't in the HOF. Ya, he had his demons..who the hell doesn't? Look at what Theo has been through and overcame. That alone needs to be celebrated..but when you look at his career while he was going through all of this shit. Hes a legend, but when you have a bunch of soft snowflakes and tree huggers calling the shots, people that wouldnt understand mental health and addiction or anything else, then they'll probably never put him in the HOF, what a tragedy.

Maybe for a time. But once I found it in my heart to forgive my uncle who began sexually abusing me when I was 5 years-old - even though he never has apologized, and probably would deny ever even doing it if I confronted him - I finally was able to put it behind me and move on with my life. I’m not saying it still doesn’t hurt when I have the frequent flashbacks and night terrors, but letting go of the hatred for him and desire to hurt him as he had hurt me, was like a two ton weight being lifted off of my chest.
