It’s tough here before a good cold front , with more fronts it gets better

Yes you can sure see it in the deep natural lakes here in Michigan. You’ll see lots of small pieces of weeds etc. in top few feet of water. Great time to bluegill fish, they’ll start schooling up and really feeding all day. I’ve got a limit of squirrels in the morning and, a limit of nice bluegills in the afternoon👍

Randy, thanks for the info. Is there a typical water temperature range the turnover happens?
@robertjakubicki22654 ай бұрын
I'm not sure if the southern Colorado river and it's backwaters have much of a turnover. One thing I've noticed is when the water is cooler the fish can be caught shallow. During the hot months I've never caught them in those places. Southern AZ has two seasons, summer and the other summer.

How often do you fish it?
@robertjakubicki22654 ай бұрын
@@nickkerr5714 I've fished it all months out of the year. The spots I fish aren't very large and I just went on Google maps and saw that my favorite fishing spot is really flooded. It'll be interesting when I go there next week.

Hey Randy, Are you fizzing and promoting the fizzing of fish taken deeper than 30' as you discussed fishing down to 60'? I limit myself to about 27' to be safe from barotrauma and not proficient at fizzing nor do i think most are. do we really know if it works?

Fishing has very difficult at my local lake in San Diego. Been having to deviate my trips to different places to catch fish.

How far south does turnover happen? I usually hit the river during turnover. Because it doesn't.

Dragging a fish up from 60 feet deep! I would think he, or she, would absolutely BLOW UP before you got them to the surface? Is wrong to think that? We do have that kind of bluff banks on Grand. Ill sure give it a try.

C'mon Randy, be consistent. You warn us about the harmful Barotrauma effect on bass taken below 30 feet and now you are instructing us to fish deep (40-50-60 Ft.!!) Even if you catch and release them at that depth, bad things happen to the fish and some (most?) die.

2 guys bring this up and crickets .SHOCKER! All these guys openly talking about fishing deep knowing damned well that the chances of survival and then they all wonder why the decline in bass fishing. unsubscribing now....BS. unsubscribing

I’m wondering did you take the offer on the boat I know you live for old school fishing and coming from a 60 year old fart 🤦♂️😂 that doesn’t mean you don’t have to waist your chances on a boat that has problems take the opportunity or I’m going to unsubscribe. Ok I know I won’t but take the offer that’s what this sport is all about
