Thanks to Randy I’ve started tying my own jigs. He’s correct living rubber is harder to find but worth the effort.

I use something similar on Lake Lanier for spots this time of year on the north end of the lake. Work really well. Good information.

Best jig for this is the Bassdope Candy Jig, a puffball style jig that crushes with a craw or TRD trailer.

So it’s essentially a Ned rig with a skirt
@comfortablynumb93422 ай бұрын
I would call that rig "Ned's Skirt" or "Skirted Ned", something about Ned wearing a skirt. 😂 I definitely sure that would work for the saltwater. All the fish I usually target would bite that if it smelled good and was in the right place at the right time. Redfish and flounder would jump all over it. I really need to play with weedless bass jigs in the saltwater because y'all have stuff that gets stuck in rocks less.

Question Randy. I'm a bank fisherman and I'm just starting out fishing jigs with no luck yet, so I have a lot to learn. Besides steep banks, you mentioned to throw in rocks. 1) Do you mean rip rap rocks? Is a round head jig good for not getting snagged so much in rocks? I thought I read somewhere to use a football head jig head for rocks? I just wanted to clarify for myself the riprap rocks and round vs football for rocks. Thank you for the video and if you have time to answer my questions.

Just get the bitsy jigs, and combine with a soft plastic creature bait or a paddle tail. Swim the paddletail, hop the creature.

Yup there’s always an unappreciative smart ass moron like you in the picture. 🙄. You must be a little immature child. 7 years old? Let’s hope you are. Cause if you’re an adult, you got problems. What about the other people that don’t know about it? It’s a great tip from Randy. You are a only you/ me child. Do us all a favor and don’t say anything at all if you don’t have anything nice to say. Just go away. So sick of you ignorant people. 🙄🙄

Please stop glamorizing the toxic Lead jigs … there’s nothing exciting about mining Lead for a non-recyclable end use. Grow a set and live up to the image that you project as a self-proclaimed environmentalist. Make a fishing product using materials that are safer and eco-friendly. Thanks, Randy.
