I saw the fall for the first time in 1978 & almost every year since,no one comes near the fantastic music they have produced.still making ground breaking music after all this time is an amazing achivement,can't wait for new album,Still the best band on the planet

sutty234, you are the sort of person Mark E Smith writes about and takes the p1ss out of. You don't understand The Fall and Mark's lyrics. Fall fans have been following them for years. I first saw them in 1978 aged 14 and all my mates of the same age were followers and still are 37 years later. That means Mark can't be doing it wrong can he. Listen to the lyrics properly and ye shall be enlightened. Or maybe it's a bit too much like hard work for you.

I've seen the Fall live four times but at the last show all I did was stare at Elena Polinou (or whatever her name is) as she played an electric keyboard set upon a barstool. Right up front, where the action is. Plus MES was on that night---not like this.
