It sucks that I can see why the state of hip hop is what it is right now and I just have to try and bridge lyrical to that instead of something that REALLY meant a lot to me; like emo rap. iirc iann was making music for a while in high school until the internet money guys came across him and then thats when they started molding him into smt else, and they made him delete his older songs, ik he had an ep called a dance with the devil

We still got: Suicide Boys, Bones, pouya, shakewell, Scarlxrd, and Yung lean. I miss the rage😢 Mario Judah is probably a Industry Plant too. MGK, Kid Cudi, Ski Mask the SlumpGod, and Post Malone are some honorable mentions too.

My favorite emo rapper of all time Drippin So Pretty has switched up his sound and has been making either moody rock or electronic rap. And I’ve noticed MANY artists have been doing something similar. Paris Shadows has been leaning heavily into post punk lately, for example.

Nice video dude, didn't even know Laroi was just a random, thought he was really Juice's prodigy
@deniseramzt9 ай бұрын
I wouldn't say prodigy but this guy is severely undermining how close they actually were, laroi wasn't just a random to juice. Laroi literally toured w him and juice willingly made music w laroi, hell laroi even saw juice pass and has released tribute songs abt him. The way this guy is talking abt their relationship is lowkey disrespectful ash.

juice and laroi were close, juice shouted him out on multiple unreleased songs, laroi was w him when he died, juice gave him a feature for his birthday, took him around the world..

Laroi Grinded in Australia. Rapped for Ben Simmons and shit before he went to the nba. Grinded to get seen by Bibby and opened for juice. Essentially just about every artist is an “industry plant” if that is counted as one.

Also, there are hundreds of EMO rappers out here still getting MONEY. Ouse and powfu are still killin it, guardin, Lund and to honestly say emo rap is dead disrespects the artists outside of the mainstream who are killing it
@timmy58769 ай бұрын
it’ll be hard to blow up with this sound now cus when x, juice and peep said stuff we knew it was true and how they lived, if someone comes out now with some of the lines they have people will just say “they’re tryna be juice wrld he doesn’t really feel that way” and until they get to a good size how can we believe it? what made the music that bit better was what they were saying was true whereas nowadays people try to hate before giving someone a chance so we’re not gonna connect with the lyrics as much plus we don’t know them

A lot attempts of emo rap stopped being as good when it gets clear the artists arent talking about their feelings, but trying to imitate other's emotions. Industry plants are just that, even if they actual feel that way, the way its expressed is imitating the emotions that got us those sounds.
