​a quick google and historical search will reveal to you that TOGO, BENIN and SOUTH WESTERN NIGERIA were never part of the Asante Kingdom. That area was known as the Slave Coast. The Kingdom encompassed parts of the coastal areas, present day Ashanti Region, Former Western Region, Eastern Region and parts of the Northern Region. Google and historical books confirm this as well. Where did this man learn his history? 😂. Plus if he insists, why wasn’t he able to state the Asante Kings who conquered the mighty Dahomey Kingdom? / Togo and Benin? And also the Asante Kings who conquered the Oyo Empire? They were not distant kingdoms as you imagine and it did not take just a battle to conquer. Some fought and others did not or after the fight bridged themselves with treaties or peace agreements.
