in my experience the words civil and justice are alien concepts in the family court, unscrupulous solicitors and barristers rule in this arena. Nice vid btw.

I asked the same question before court hearing. I have 2 children under 2 yrs old. Bailiff told me that some mothers do show up with thier children. Some judges might not like it , but oh well. We do what we have to do as single mothers. I don't trust anyone with my children besides a few family members.

Rule number one never use a solicitor in family or divorce court it will make no difference at all to your case the judge wont see you any differently for having a solicitor it will just leave you poorer. A friend of mine used a forensic accountant for A divorce she spent £50 K on finding out her ex had three houses all in his name his business was in his brothers name she couldn't touch any of it and now she has a bill of £50K.

well said, however I was unlawfully allowed this right by the judge shouting at me to get one in open court - Judge Robinson in Eastbourne , England- a disgrace from start to finish. I was unable to get a solicor for weeks and when I did get one they gave me such wrong advice that the judge laughed and called me a liar, yet it was witnessed - though he never bothered to to check or ask for any verification. Subsequently the solicitor form, on complaint, tried to blackmail me (I have it in writing!) but the police refuse to issue a report number or look into it.

Represent yourself 100%. Please do. They have kidnapped your kids. If you pay the ransom they will keep on doing it to others. But the risks are the worst.

Do not go! When they serve a summons (summoning you is a fancy word for an invitation) send it back and ask to view the evidence provided with the petition. Ask if petition was signed under threat of perjury? Ask if your right to a jury trial is assured? Ask what jurisdiction is the court moving under? Do not submit your financial information or SS# (very important, cause they can freeze your bank account to force you into their lair) cause you have a right to property and papers secured under 4th amendment. If you do not receive answers you do not go!! They will threaten you, but they cannot do anything without your volunteering info and walking into their web of deceit. Show less

If your a man and you can't afford a solicitor, then don't worry about bringing the change, you wont be needing it, your be in there for 10 mins, no one will listen to you, your be shafted, your lose your kid or kids, your never see them again, all in 10 mins, the mother will always get a solicitor no matter what, but you wont, i haven't seen my little girl for over 6 years now, she's had about 4 dads, but that's ok as long as she doesn't get her real dad, NO violence, NO abuse, GOOD DAD. FUCK THE SYSTEM, it don't work.

I found an older girl on Tinder and I have spoken to her! I have always wanted an older girl, and I have asked her if she has kids. She says she has a ten year old kid. She said she only sees him on the weekend. I am guessing he lives with his dad. I don't know if she is lying or not? However, in most countries, mothers tend to get the child custody, except for Arab countries!

Do you think that the fact that family court cases are closed to the public has a damaging effect upon litigants in person? If i were to represent myself, the first think I would do is attend and watch similar preceedings (after reading an appropriate book on the topic). Do you think there is sufficient scrutiny of the courts? Would reporting restrictions be sufficient to protect the interests of those invovled?

The reporting restrictions apply to the UK - some of the stunning UK 'family law' (social services, usually) ineptitude and unlawful behaviour has been published in other countries by national news channels, as children with dual nationality (in several different cases at different times) were returned immediately to their families on complaint to their embassies - British people are afforded no such protection. The simple rule is this - British family courts are a total pisstake - even if they did follow the law and those who fed into them didn't lie and manipulate as they provenly do (and which I have seen myself, it's blatant!) then one would be having a 'first try' at fighting for one's rights in a complex den of ineptitude, sexism and corruption - and we all know how first attempts at anything go. The alternative is to have someone often inept and/or looking after their own career first represent you - these people see lying and gaming daily and for the vast part don't give a toss - it's just a job to them. Note that the only breakthrough (if it's ever implemented properly, which I doubt) in the family courts is the cross dresser fellow (Martin Allen) who has made videos about it and put them on KZbin because, as he admits specifically, he "had something on someone in The House": England is the heart of corruption - remember that before you even try anything in 'family court' where so much money changes hands and careers are made. His video(s) are worth watching. KZbin search "Justice for Dads/Fathers now you have rights" he speaks well in interviews, too.

I am not sure how applicable this is to U.S. law. You should state in your title or at least your description that this is for UK family court, this could be VERY misleading
@lucyreed7065
@lucyreed7065 8 жыл бұрын
+Ryan G It''s not applicable to the US (although I suppose some general aspects might be useful, other stuff might not). I'm confident nobody who has watched the videos will be misled : I'm an English lawyer, it's published on youtubeGB and it shows an English court room. Incidentally, no such think as a UK court. Scotland has an entirely separate legal system.

+Lucy Reed I am in the US and I cannot see anywhere that says youtubeGB, to me it looks like a tutorial video on Family Court. I am in the US, so I assume it is in the US, because I am ethnocentric. Someone watching the video who may be uneducated may not know where the video is from, is all I am saying. Lastly another commentator said " ...cause you have a right to property and papers secured under 4th amendment." They referenced the fourth amendment which is a US thing, I think it is fair to say that some may be mislead. Great videos though! They are very well made and you obviously put a lot of time and thought into them!

Is it hard to represent yourself in the family court or does it depend on the subject at hand? Like if someone were to go through a divorce, would it be in the family court or civil court? Is it possible to represent yourself in a divorce? I found that you can get free divorce forms online here but is that something were I would have to represent myself or would I get help? blog.document-do-it-yourself-service.com/free-divorce-forms/
@nofamilylawyer
@nofamilylawyer 9 жыл бұрын
+Jennifer Marsden Hi Jennifer, you correctly guessed it - it depends! It depends on you, on the facts of the case... A divorce is dealt with in the Family Court (a sort of civil court). Yes you can represent yourself if you wish - the divorce itself can be done administratively in most cases (that means you don't need to go to a court hearing it's done on paper), it is usually only where there is a dispute about finances or children that you may need to go to court for a hearing. Court forms are freely available on the government run - Justice website www.justice.uk. You don't need to pay for forms. People on low incomes may be able to pay a reduced fee to start a case.

I was raped by metropolitan police officers Uxbridge magistrates, Conservative party members of the North West London area, had my nose broken by a Foster parent, then 3 women admitted serious domestic abuse, 1 woman admitted glassing stabbing and biting me, criminal damage lying to courts and police,, I was found not guilty and social services were using false evidence and falsified reports to unlawfully remove a child, 2nd baby mum admitted domestic sexual abuse and kidnapping a child she was told by high courts not to remove my child from my care, My son was taken after I was told I could and would be able to parent him safely and well, perfectly well, but the judge directly said,, due to the level of damage caused to Mr keen by Hillingdon and police he can't function without his children, my now ex Sophie and a social services lied about my son dying,, I have even got faked court papers from Hillingdon themselves and they've gone against,, 1 un lawfully removed my God given indelible human rights to justice live life in peace,. 2 I proved the rapes and abuse I and many children suffered,. 3 my children have been abused and all ignored and covered up,, not very well I have to add, 4 head of Hillingdons complaints have broken data protection laws. So unfortunately the facts are women have been terminating their children to stop and prevent more baby deaths by Hillingdon paedophile social workers,, and police. The courts lie and contradict themselves, you can record the courts weather they like it or not, men are treated so badly men are comitting suicide for the unlawful loss of their babies, you women think it's OK to lie and set bloke up for what,, loving and supporting you, evil,
