Thank you so much for this video. I 100% agree. I was brutally set upon through my children after I left their mother. In fact, it was happening from the moment they were born and I had no idea. No relationship with them now. It's gotten worse and worse over the years. And yes, my children are suffering because of it and are unaware that this is the reason why. My heart goes out to all of you and your children who have been abused in this way (and any way). We did NOT do anything to deserve this

Spot on, seems that assessment needs assessment 😱 So frustrating when people in power are so complacent and under informed. Nothing short of negligence on their part, since PA is a child protection issue, not a custody issue. ⚖️

Thank you man👍🏻 happened to me for 10 years, and now its happening to my exs new husband last two. Two kids without fathers in one household. CAFCASS are the enablers in lots of cases

1000% agreed. This has happened to me for 6 years & now I lost 2 years of contact because of lies. Mum forced my daughter to lie to a teacher saying I jumped & strangled her. Than after 1 month said it was only a dream.

Thank you so much for this video. I've been denied access to my children for 1.5 so far due to this exact problem/loophole. Nobody from my family has met my children since and even and my constant voicing of fears that my elder child may harm himself due to the forced separation have been ignored by the assigned child welfare officer.

7 years down the line here. My child is self harming and now threatening suicide. Literally no one will listen.

This video is spot on! In my case Cafcass reported death wishes, badmouthing and more. However it raised no concerns about the other parent and tried to diminish contact. How do I get advice about it from a Msckenzie friend?

I have been experiencing parental alienation for 13 years but only came to realise what it was 3 years ago when I consulted a lawyer about gaining legal access to my daughter. The lawyer told me I was probably better off just walking away because it was a case of parental alienation in her opinion and I was unlikely to get any access as CAFCASS behaves exactly as outlined in this video. I have just had my first hearing and the mother of my daughter is behaving EXACTLY as outlined in this video. It remains to be seen how CAFCASS manages my case.

My son’s mother attempted to alienate my son against me. Fortunately, my son saw through her negative comments and conversations about me. It resulted in my son wanting to live with me and not his mother. She would shout and get angry at him when he told her to stop and that he didn’t like it…. This was 12 months ago, and having told my son he could live with me, he told his mother he was moving to Nottingham to live with me. Long story short, I’ve been absolutely hung out to dry throughout the court process, not being given an opportunity to ask questions or have the courts put questions and allegations to her. We’ve just had a section 7 report. I requested the carcass officer to ask my son one question….. ‘Why didn’t he want to live with his mum any longer and move to Nottingham with me?… This wasn’t asked…… Which goes hand in hand with a carcass officer, saying on record in court, that ‘It’s not really relevant’ when I asked why my sons mother hadn’t been addressed regarding assaulting me in front of her daughter, which has resulted in a section 47 Charge (ABH) ….

He can't be more clearer than this. u should give the courts and cafcass a training class.

100% agree, example: the report CAFCASS made for my son who I was going through court for contact, said "(child) does not want to see his Father because his Mother told him he is a bad parent"... also, stated they had numerous interviews with my child, which was actually a 5 minutes phone call. Horrible experience
@robertscott61983 жыл бұрын
I had ex in court twice regarding alienation.she actually played it in reverse.i had joint custody so had lots of time with the child but she made it a real chore at first then later on the child became a spy who would come to me primed with a comment designed to cause trouble.now i know what the child went through,too many things to post and feel great sorrow.it ended with him telling me to f-off by phone but could hear her telling the child what to say.however you try to prove alienation they always have child manipulation to use,its learned in childhood so if you have never experienced it before you have no idea whats coming next.there is no end if the other parent is determined to alienate.

My husband's ran off the house 2 years ago with our boy who is 12 today and left me with the girl big sister. After the court order was released,my son visited us for the first time and then my husband said my boy does want to see me. When the girl visited them for the first time, he politely asked not to come back as per the court order and cancelled her visit. I can not afford a laywer and at the moment the court does not even attempt to investigate " parental alienation" my son who use to go to school is now homeschool meaning there is no teacher or other third party to obverse. My husband is killing our son. I need help!!

Gary Goodrick-Meech 1 second ago Great video. Now 481 days since I saw, spoke or had any form of contact with my children. Phones and social media shut down within 24 hours by alienating parent. Had mediation, mother of my children refused to attend. Applied for child arrangements: so far 6 virtual hearings with 6 different judges. My CAFCASS officer started with the belief that my children’s mother and I had opposing views and that it was a clear case of “he said, she said”. After 3 months she totally understood what was going on. I guess I am lucky that I have an understanding officer. However, procedure is procedure and I believe that the law is an ass. The bottom line is the judiciary is not brave enough to go against the alienating parent. Although safeguarding checks have been carried out and I am no risk to my children the Court system appears to not want to muddy the waters and upset the applecart. It is the law which permits the alienating parent to continue with their disguised compliance and to continually denigrate and dehumanise the alienated parent. It’s a case of one step forward, two steps back. I’m not a victim in this situation - my children are and the damage caused will stick with them into adulthood. A guardian is now in place together with a solicitor for the children…and a psychological assessment has been ordered. Too little too late. The judicial system and everything about it needs an overhaul.

Great video its a shame that this is such an epedemic problem today. That one parent cant see the point of putting the child and the other parents best interest at heart. At the bottom of it all its the parent using the child as a tool against the other parent .... were is the love !

yes - this pathogen is described by Dr Childress, which he has developed insight and an assessment process for multi - disciplinery teams as it goes often unseen.

But are you saying that, the "alienated" father's behaviour has nothing to do with the children not wanting contact with their fathers ?
@mckenziefrienduknetwork4 жыл бұрын
Hi Linda, that is going to be a topic of a new video quite soon. People often misunderstand the relationship between safeguarding and contact. When you say the 'father's behaviour', it of course depends on what behaviour you are talking about and any safeguarding measures that are required. What would you do for your children? I accept I’ve lost to injustice and incompetence. But what do we have to lose if we lose our children? By releasing a video or voice recording with names of non professionals edited from it… I feel it could at least benefit others. Maybe start something. I’ve not seen it done before. Because parents, grandparents, siblings, etc… should come together, protest, bring the evidence and demand change from government. The existing groups I see so far are just Money making bs aimed at lost fathers. We need a families group. Social services and the courts need completely restructuring. They are literally murdering childhoods.

cafcass interviewed my son at 5 years who told them parent used a ladder to enter his property (which happened to be on 1st floor) with a ladder he had hidden in bushes. same parent had attempted to use same child to enter other parents property through a window when access was denied and court provided with evidence threat to break and enter by using child. my child stated parent was crazy and parents were not friends and verbal abuse was witnessed. parent has extensive criminal record of domestic abuse and sexual assault. cafcass were made aware perpetrator did not attempt perpetrator programme after previous court order. cafcass recommends perpetrator attempts course after lying to court. probation allowed convict not to attend with a phone call to say he was working. no community service carried out from multiple convictions. reoffended whilst on licence. nothing done. help given to criminal, none to survivor...courts allowed to re-traumatise. broken uk so called justice system not fit for purpose like the rest of the failing government departments
