@@MattStephenson523 It may be the channels I watch. I watch a lot of Star Wars channels like Eckhart's Ladder, Star Wars Theory and others. Most of them have had problems with story. Gina Carano's firing was a real world problem, but most of the channels I've watched are people having some problem or other with the story not panning out like they think it should. I liked season 3, so you saying it's sloppy is similar to what other people have said. There are plenty of other people that liked season 3 as well, so it's just a matter of preference....something that I think will affect the Ahsoka series as well. People will just have differing opinions, regardless of how it unfolds.

The transformation of Ahsoka is so profound, I can't think of another character that has had a similar development. I am one of those fans that absolutely did not like her when she was introduced. The little we've seen of Natasha and Mary as Sabine and Hera makes me feel like they get it. Natasha seems to carry the clever snark of our favorite Mandalorian artist. Mary seems to grasp that Hera is "forged by war" but also has a warm maternal nature to the people she cares about. And I'm not gonna lie. I LOVE that she's married to Ewan MacGregor. Their little boy officially has the coolest parents on the planet.

The first time I saw that spin move that cut the floor out in the trailer, I was watching it on my phone so couldn't tell she threw them into the ground and used the force for the spin. I thought she had ahold of the hilts. When I noticed it on my computer, it was just pure joy at seeing a skilled jedi again. This is my most anticipated Star Wars series. Ahsoka has always been my favorite character. I do hope they let the attitude of Anakin shine through a bit. I know she's obviously older in this, but I'm sure it's still there somewhere

@@Raii_Chu Difference is there was mass complications BTS for boba fett, that show clearly wasn't planned, it was forced. and the people handling kenobi didn't know what they were doing, and Chow even says in the gallery special she brought her version/vision of star wars. And said in an article before the show released that they were not acknowleging rebels or clone wars, depsite that being the reason they even got to make kenobi. They disregarded the very show that you needed for kenobi, and on top of that a poor budget. had dave done it kenobi would've been one of the best shows on disney+ because he has worked with those characters since clone wars and respects them.

We had the OG unedited VHS the collectibles from the 70s and 80s untouched and still in their boxes. I’m only 22 so my parents were the ones that experienced it coming out for the first time as children so Star Wars has had heavy influence in my life. In all honesty, when I first heard Rosario Dawson was going to play Ahsoka Tano in the Mandalorian, I was like, "Who is she? I had never heard of Rosario Dawson before." But after I saw Chapter 13: The Jedi, Rosario won me over. She just nailed Ahsoka in live-action. I would go as far as to say Rosario Dawson might be my favorite actress in modern-day Star Wars. Don't get me wrong, there are some amazing actors in Disney Star Wars, Pedro Pascal, Dee Bradley Baker, Gina Carano, and Temuera Morrison. But for me, Rosario played my favorite Star Wars character perfectly, and I'm super happy she and Ashley Eckstein got to meet a few months back. And I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the Ahsoka show.

Ashley Eckstein did a fantastic job on bringing this character to life. She portraited the young and hasty Ahsoka and then reprised her role as the Experienced and self controlled Ahsoka in rebels. And Rosario did a fantastic job on completing this journey by bringing the Wise mid-aged Ahsoka who is more powerful and in control than ever. What a perfect casting. Dave is a Magician.

I like Dawson as an actress and in the roll. My only concern with her casting is that the Ahsoka character was very quick and nimble when she fought (yes it was animated before I get it); but I just don't get that same vibe from what i've seen when I watch the way she moves in the live action. Even thought she is supposed to be older in the show vs the animated series there just seems to be a disconnect between the two characters in that sense. I'm afraid they didn't spend enough time training Dawson to move like Ahsoka. Still looking forward to the series though. I hope it is great!

It’s so refreshing to hear a cast talking about Star Wars with the reverence it deserves. They don’t have any agendas, they just love Star Wars and it couldn’t be more obvious that this project is Filoni and not Kennedy. Every actor seem to genuinely understand their character with respect towards the source material. I love the way she described Hera, she’s an awesome strong female character without being overly cringe or Mary Suey. Both hyped and concerned. Mando Season 3 deserved to be better and was pretty much tossed aside to make way for this series. Regardless, Dave is going full throttle on this new SW Rebels Live action sequel and making sure every episode is written by him so that it isn't tainted by others. I hope they call Temuera Morrison and have him play as Rex. He deserved more than what the Book of Boba Fett did so little for him.

Some food for thought: Remember that the same person who created Ahsoka as a character and developed her story over the years is the same person at the head of this show. Literally no one knows the character better than Dave Filoni, so for him to be able to personally tell her tale with such creative control is amazing. Its the Directors and writers they keep and use. hmm with Obi-wan, something happened it was suppose to be a movie/film maybe a trilogy of 3x films but too big of risk to commit that much. Perhaps they decided hey lets make it a longer form of content with a Disney+ series and they did. Obi Wan worked 82% Rotten Tomatoes, 7.1/10 on IMDB, 84% of Google Users liked the show. Thats a win #StarWras #obiwan. So I dont know what you're talking about, we as fans were spoiled to some fun backdropped of the Star Wars universe we got to see two actors play a young leia and young like, while seeing Obi-wan be that guardian looking after Luke, save Leia giving meaning to their past connection n homage to the 4th film created 40 years ago, spoiler of the underground path aka hidden 'The path' of jedi that survived order 66, who were navigating to try and escape out of the mid-rim to get out of the inner reach of the clone Army and the new Empire during the Obi-wan series. And BobaFett series had the chance to spoil fans with Grogus jedi training and seeing a young de-age look with new CGI VFX too. Fans were ecstatic seeing those seens. #StarWars #obiwan #bobafett

@@Dethrey_ Obi wan has a 56% from fans on Rotten Tomatoes. I like how you cherry picked your stats. That last episode saved the show for many because that interaction between Obi Wan and Vader at the end couldn’t have been more perfect. That doesn’t excuse the fact the previous 5 episodes were some of the blandest, low budget, dredge in Star Wars. The show looked like it was filmed in open fields and had minimal post production fx work done. There are fans recreating the show right now adding vfx, lighting, and extra scenes and its looks 100x better than what Disney put out- showing me that there is a desperate lack of passion behind these shows. I’m glad you liked the show- but be honest- has anything (maybe with the exception of Andor) Disney Star Wars has put out actually good compared to other network shows? Can you really say SW is in the same level of quality as GOT, WestWorld, the Witcher, etc. No. not even close - and there’s no reason for why not. Disney is the richest production studio in the world by a long shot.

Ahsoka is a master class in character development. She has gone from being the most hated character in Clone Wars, to the most beloved. That was all due to the masterful character growth written by Filoni. Sad that Lucas Film, or Disney does not take notes from him, and write characters as shallow as a puddle now.

I really hope they get Thrawn right. Heir to the Empire was the first SW book I ever read. It was absolute perfection along the other two books in the trilogy, and one the best fictional villain's was one the reasons for that perfection. They did good with the character Rebels, except for the blockade over Lothal and the moment in the final battle where he somehow didn't predict Hera and crew assaulting the generator room. Regardless I'm excited to see him in live action.

Even in the Heir to the Empire Trilogy, Thrawn wasn't perfect with his predictions... he predicts Karrade won't hand over the Katana Fleet's location too quickly to the New Republic (which Karrade does) and is blind to the Noghri's revenge into tricking them into the Empire's service. Don't get me wrong me, he's pretty darn good, but wasn't 100%.

It just seemed like an obvious oversight since he is so familiar with the ghost crew, I would think he would know Hera wouldn't just role over and go along with Ezra's surrender. And the blockade scene was not so much a mistake as it was the writing didn't make sense: firing on Hera and the baron didn't gain Thrawn anything. (It would have been easy to make that the case, but oh well). Thrawn was actually very much in character during that seen, and we see his ruthlessness which I appreciate. It's just to bad the writers aren't on the same level as Timothy Zahn when it comes to nuanced battle scenes, haha

Really looking forward to Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka, she's a perfect cast for that role, good job, pay her whatever to keep her in it and the series will endure. May sound silly to say before we even get the first installment, but I don't think so as Rosario Dawson has been so great through the years and is a perfect fit for Ahsoka to the point of a no brainer home run hit.

I'm hoping that Filoni was given true creative control over this project. As the creator of the titular character, who knowingly introduced her as an insufferable padawan of Anakin's and took her on a journey that made her into one of the top fan-favorite Star Wars characters that's truly up there with the most beloved characters that Lucas created on his own, you'd hope he was given free reign and that there was minimal meddling coming from Kathleen Kennedy and her sycophants.

Ultimately, I think Ahsoka will be a tragic story. She’s not on screen in the sequel trilogy for a reason. Both she and Kanan Jarrus spoke to Rey as spirits of the Jedi to strengthen her resolve to end the struggle against Palpatine. Something utterly tragic and heroic will befall Ahsoka, but we as fans have to earn it by seeing her whole story.

Literally, my one and only concern with this show is how they portray Thrawn's chracter. In the canon Zahn books, Thrawn is not a straight-up villian and has good reasons for the choices he makes. I really hope Dave and co dont throw all that away for a one-note villian type of role. Also it seems like they're forgoing/ignoring all the stuff regarding the Grysk, the unknown regions, & the chiss ascendancy...

It would be awesome to see the Chiss Ascendancy and the war unfolding there from Ezra's perspective as he realizes Thrawn has his own motivations to protect those he loves.
