I’m about half way through and I absolutely love it! It feels so good to be back in this world and with these characters! I like all the new ones too. I’m trying to savor it since I know we won’t get another one for a while probably 😭

Yesss!! I'm so happy The Ninth Rain ended up working for you :) You did a great job describing it! It has a lot going on so I feel like it's a hard book to pitch hahah I'm about 100 pages into The Bitter Twins and I am ✨obsessed✨ I'm two books behind on Wayward Children 😩 I need to get on that... Sorcery of Thorns was a really fun standalone! Short and sweet :)

Very hard to pitch! I had to edit that part of the video down quite a lot because there are just so many interesting things about the world and the story. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever read. I’m starting The Bitter Twins hopefully today! I can’t stop thinking about these characters and this world. Luckily the Wayward Children books are super short so you can totally catch up in an afternoon if you really wanted to 😂 I really enjoyed book 8, very creepy and a bit melancholy. I’m looking forward to Sorcery of Thorns! Something short and sweet sounds perfect for later this month 🥰

@@BookishBlackwell everything you just said brings my heart so much joy 💕 I hope The Bitter Twins works as well for you as it is for me! We can fan girl together :) Creepy and melancholy sounds a lot like Down Among the Sticks and Bones which is maybe my favorite installment so I’m excited now!

I'm still amazed that you're reading a whole series at once 😅 For February I have only one plan - finish The Locked Tomb series and reduce the number of "current reads" as I've reached crazy level of 9 books 🤣

It’s the only way I know how to live 😅 I’m really excited to read The Locked Tomb series soon! The last book comes out sometime this year right? 9 current reads is a lot! 😂 but whatever works for you! I often “shop around” starting lots of books until I find one that sticks. It’s ok to set stuff down until a time when it hits you right ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@@BookishBlackwell it was supposed to go out this year but I heard some rumours that it was pushed to 2025. Yeah, I'm starting to be an expert in "shopping around" the books but I managed to finish some in January so it's not a disaster :P

I've come across Jen Williams' series several time before, but it never seemed the least bit interesting. Now I'm intrigued!
