Dag gum you I am a Army veteran a man's man who hardly ever gets emotional and this video has touched me so deeply that I have tears. I ain't gonna say that I'm crying but yeah. Gardening is more than just growing plants it's the growing of your life and learning valuable life lessons. One of the hardest things as a veteran is being able to open up and taking the chance of getting hurt . Gardening has helped me to be able to do that. I'm not as afraid for people to see that I can fail. When you do a KZbin channel like you do and I do as well you open yourself up to so much it can be scary at times. One of the reasons why I like your channel so much is that you are so open and real . I am going to quit rambling and just get to the point of this In philippians 4 there is a verse that says it all. I can do all things through christ who strengthens me. You and your family have this in spades. When you learn to let go and let God be God life gets so much better. God Bless you all and I am really looking forward to your new beginning.

Just watched! I cried! No one has inspired me to grow a garden, love the garden, what to do with it! I’m 70 and have learned how to sow seeds, grow seeds, care for seeds, harvest them, can and freeze them, eat them. I always bought starts before! Now I absolutely love growing from birth, to keeping seeds! I used to think what’s the point. Now I know what it means to hear the call back to the garden. No one understands that like a gardener or farmer or rancher! I will continue to watch your new adventure! I bless you!!!

Doggone it Jess (notice that SC slang from this SC girl). I sat here and had tears streaming down my face at the end. I was taken back to my own farewell garden tour about 8 years ago. We had lived in a rented property for over 10 years. Our landlord lived behind us and was an avid gardener and had been for over 60 years. He taught me so much about not only gardening, but life and even death. Some of my fondest memories are us two gardening. Leaving that property was beyond hard after he passed away. We bought our property where we are now, but I think a piece of my heart will forever be on that corner of Thompson Road. Memories, oh the memories. Welcome home to SC y'all. Welcome home. God bless.

The funniest thing happened to me yesterday. I had an eye appointment and needed to purchase a new glasses. I have been using the same provider for a few years now and have had the same consultant helping me pick out the cutest glasses during that time. As we were looking at new frames the conversation of gardens came up and we both realized that we watch your channel - HI JENNIFER!!! For a few minutes we forgot the world around us and just discussed how much we love your garden tours and what you have taught us. If you ever feel like you are not making a difference - YOU ARE! I know that Jennifer and I are excited to learn new things and follow your adventures for years to come.

That zone is on the line but it is possible. When it gets cold, you can wrap them in Christmas lights (non led) to keep them alive and toasty. I do that in FL myself.

I started crying as soon as you said this was your last garden tour in Arkansas. I have no idea why because you're moving to SC, about 40 minutes from my home and I'm so excited for your family AND for me...and everyone here that I've told about Roots & Refuge Farm. Please have a safe trip to your new home and I pray one day I'll be blessed enough to actually tour your garden in person. Thank you for doing what you do and will continue to do on your amazing piece of heaven here in the Midlands. God Bless you and your family.

I've got tears already and haven't watched yet. I struggle with thought of having to leave my little homestead, my heart is here. Being almost 70, that day is coming sooner than later. Hope your move and letting go will give me insight into how I will do eventually. God speed on your new adventures.

As I watched this tears filled my eyes. I found you in late 2019 and have learned so much. You helped me to believe that I could do this, showed me the online community of families who just want to be together, grow together and make a real life, not just exist. We have for the past 2 years been growing a garden. I have found my self again, slowed down to see the beauty the Lord has provided. I so appreciate your openness of faith, but so real the importance of family and choices that forever affect us . I celebrate the blessings the Lord has given you, I celebrate your diligence in work and faith, I am forever great full for all I have learned while watching you live your life so publicly. May His blessings continue to overwhelm your family!

Jessica taught me the perfection of imperfection. She taught me that error is just a natural step to success. Jessica is a gentle leader, and I am one of her followers. At 69, to be able to glean wisdom off this remarkable young woman is a treasure to me. I will forever be grateful for your giving me roots, while allowing me safe refuge in your garden. I have grown rich watching your beautiful family. God has amazing things in store for you. You know that your steps are ordered. I believe that Yahweh is smiling over your Carolina home. There will be angels waiting for you at that front gate. You've got sisters and brothers out here who are putting them in place. This is going to be nothing short of epic Jess. All of us here on this little piece of land in Southern California send you much love and joy. We are praying peace over you and your family.

You have such a big heart; a huge passion for your gardening; a love for your blended family; so much to think and do for this move; moving away from family, yet take the time to keep us updated. Be safe. Be happy. Be proud of what you are and do.

This one made me cry. Leaving one dream for a bigger one is hard because you have grown so familiar with what you know but the fulfillment can't happen until you open your arms and embrace the new. Onward and upward towards the long-term and the end game. The new things that you will be able to accomplish with your sticktoitiveness and lack of rules will be a sight to behold! I can't wait to be a part of it!

Oh my, this is going to be bittersweet! I can’t tell you how much you mean to me Jess. I found my new home because of you. God put Arkansas on my heart thru you, we are now renting in Missouri (moved from AZ) we are just over the AR state line and I have my first real garden. I started watching you in June of last year, God can do great things in a short amount of time. Thank you! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! I can’t wait to watch you build your new farm. I am hoping we can do the same in the next few years. God bless you 💕💕💕

For those of us who have ridden along on the journey in this garden it is apparent that you have grown so much and blossomed along with your plants. You have become a strong, and confident gardener who isn't afraid to try something and not apologize if it just doesn't work. You learned a lesson with each new year and we learned so much from you. I am looking forward to the next steps and to see what you plant (in your heart as well as in the dirt) will become.
