Shogun Assassination was already peak shounen for me, I didn't think this level of quality could be repeated, let alone suprassed, but Farewell Shinsengumi absolutely killed it. Might not be as flashy compared to Gintoki v Takasugi, but the pacing, the tone, masterfully balanced arcs of multiplte main character crossed between eachother, perfect paybacks of all 300 ep worth relationships, all of this easily made FS my #1.

Omg same! Farewell, shinsengumi is my favorite arc too. But in general not only in gintama 🔥 🔥🔥 I wish I could experience it for the first time again!

After gintama I think you should do a sket dance, the writer of the sket dance is Sorachi's former assistant and the story is also about 3 people who work odd jobs at school, basically the school version of gintama
