I grew up surrounded by fruit trees in a barrio, which is now becoming a commercial district, of Dagupan City. My mother planted on every space in our 2,000 square meter lot, it came to a point there was no more space for an avocado, siniguelas, or duhat. I miss those days so I plan to buy a similar size lot away from the city so that I can pursue my gardening hobby.

Bring back so much memories for me coz I was born and grew up in Nueva Ecija live in the farm that my MUM and Dad owns now my sister manage it coz our parents has passed . Having live in the UK for 48 years made me realised how important my roots are so maybe after this pandemic I will go home for a visit in San Isidro x

Farming and becoming a farmer from other jobs will really be a very hard and difficult transition but to be a gentleman farmer or farm manager is a little easier. I did just that when i returned to bohol to manage our family farm for 8yrs till i have to return to manila

Is your parents receiving their pension monthly? How? Is there a requirement for the pensioner to stay physically in a year or need to return back to Canada to get it?
@leonardolegaspi72612 жыл бұрын
Govt pension consits of cpp, oas, oas allow and gis You get cpp and if you lived in canada for 20 yrs, you can even ask the govt to remit cpp and oas to your phil.bank. if you are away for extended period of time and eligible to receive gis you get only 6 mos and payt will stop unless you go back to canada

40,000 sqm is 4 hect., quite a big hobby farm there, I guess he has some helpers.Mag Agri Business Tayo shows one Organic farmer in Batangas using ants as a natural pest control,, that farmer has a winery as well. Nice to have fresh fruits and veggies , no need to go to market to buy them, my dream.

just to let you know Red weaving ants (this is a bio pesticides) is a very good and organic way killing fruit pest like fruit files and wasp and others insect that will destroy fruits, if you have red weaving ants in your tree be thankful don't kill them all specially the colony just move it to another fruit bearing tree. Just another information about red weaving ants eggs are edible and its a good source of proteins too.
