Once upon a time, I mean 3 years ago, we packed our bags and left Canada were we grew up to move back to our motherland, the Philippines, and start a new chapter. It's been a long, arduous couple of months that seem like a blur now but lots of things have happened. We will try to recount everything that transpired in the next few videos so stay tuned! And yes, the thumbnail is a clickbait (sorry) because the truth is, we're in this for REAL!

Ok, I subscribed to you a long time ago, and I'm going to file this video under OMG!!! Your three-year journey has really come through, from getting that first piece of land and slowly...oh so slowly, clearing it and then building this dream resort. I've often wondered what inspired people to put these resorts in somewhat more remote areas of the PI, and now I know. First, let me give you a big shout-out on the Philippine work ethic. You remember your time in Canada with the both of you working in the medical field, scrimping and saving to one day head back to the PI. That is what literally millions of Filipinos will do with their lives. I have a niece who lives in the PI and will graduate from nursing school. She will then seek her fortune outside of the Philippines and I cannot think of anything better to show her other than this video! Your drive to accomplish your goals will serve you well for the rest of your lives. I wish you and the family the greatest success and make sure to take time to enjoy your journey!!!!

I am so happy for you guys that you had the guts while you were young. You are seeing your kids grow up instead of them taken cared by the day care and hardly noticing if they learn some bad habits in the day care. You fetch them, rush them to eat get ready for sleep, bring them back to day care the next day and work most of the weekdays. Weekends are spent getting ready for the next week and the next thing you know, they are more attached to their friends than they are to you. Surely the children are afforded everything however they care more what their friends say than what you tell them.

After 25 yrs for me, and 30 plus yrs for my husband, we dream of coming back home to retire. God willing in 2-3 yrs. We have a piece of property too in the Tagaytay area that we would like to develop, and back when your property was still all dirt i found your channel! Your journey has been nothing short of amazing! It gives us so much inspiration but at the same time a lot of fear and anxiety too! Can i still do it? At least you guys are young.
