They are poisoning people all over the world but they pay so much money to governments and politicians, they bribe anyone they need to, hire evil genius lawyers and even employ officials to get what they want. People blame farmers in general having no idea whatsoever that these guys aren't the problem. This man isn't the reason cows get penned and injected with hormones. I grew up in the South. Most of my high school class elected to 'stay with their roots', stay there, farm, ranch...they worked their farms, planted Monsanto seeds, lived under debt...while I went to college, traveled the world, worked in Engineering in so many places. I retired early in life...and at my 40-year class reunion time, I wanted to see my 'remaining classmates' from so long ago...so about a year or so out, looked up several names...trying to find someone to talk to about what, where, when a reunion would be held. I finally traced a girl in my grade down...she lived in Michigan (while I lived out west with my wife). I caught up with her for a few minutes, she said several had wondered 'what had happened to me at a few past reunions, but none had heard'. I told her that I was always just so busy...hadn't had the time to come through that way again. Again, our conversation turned to a 'reunion'...and I could tell she was choking up...she said 'well, I guess you wouldn't know...but there won't be any more reunions, unless you want to come just to see me...seems we're the only ones left'...I said 'what?! there was almost 100 in our class...what happened to everyone?' She said 'other than a few that had car wrecks and one violent assault fatality, almost everyone is dead...most all of them, of cancer'. At the time, I said 'WHAT? We're not even 60 yet! EVERYONE got cancer and is now dead?' She said 'yep...most of some type of internal-digestive cancer...and I don't know how you feel about it, but I'm tell you, it was that seed and those chemicals that did it! Most that were hard-farming started dying off right after we turned 40...and by the time I was 52, almost all the owner-farmers were dead...the last ones were those who'd ran the commercial chicken barns...but even they're gone now'...I then thought to ask her, 'well...I left out of there at 18...joined the military, then to school, then began my civilian career (all without returning)...when did you leave?' She said 'well, I married an Air Force guy, and moved to California when I was 19...only went back for holidays...and when my parents died, I stopped that too'...so, out of 100, 2 left and didn't return...and are the only 'survivors' of the genocide of 'commercial farming'...be careful what you eat...I try not to eat 'American-grown food', when I can help it...but Monsanto is EVERYWHERE now...and with Ukraine and Russia, and Europe's pending starvation...they're about to end 'no-GMO grain' laws there...and start shipping it in...most-likely to the same result that my class has already passed away from. Be CAREFUL what you eat...

If you happen to be in a big box store such as H.D. on a warm day, the air will be filled with the scent of stuff so badly that you can not breathe. My son worked at a H.D. for a couple of years. It gives his name and so you probably could even find his phone number or address on the internet ... there's got to be a way that you could contact him . It sounds like the story of your town does seriously need to be told and you should think about contacting The Young Turks ... also VICE channel ... pretty sure they tell you how you can contact them and VICE does some very good stories ... check out those channels especially Vice . ... and maybe some of the people who have represented Live Aid for the farmers such as Neil Young and his wife actress Daryl Hannah you know they're very active on the internet especially Daryl Hannah ... I think she's on Twitter a lot ( I don't really like her ) but I'll bet if you contact her and say what's been happening in your town and that you WISH there could be a camera crew and somebody to make a documentary about it , I'm sure somebody would look into it and I don't know if you have Facebook but you could try creating awareness through a Facebook page . You know who else you want to contact ? Erin Brockovich remember Julia Roberts played her years ago in that movie about the major lawsuit against the powerful company poisoning the water and causing people to die ? I'm pretty sure she still works in the industry and just Google and look up stuff about her and I'm sure you'll find a contact number or an email for her . YOU have to MAKE IT HAPPEN ... you have to be proactive and start CONTACTING PEOPLE , whether through emailing them or finding that they have channels here and commenting to them on their channels or writing them letters but like I said a lot of these people are on Twitter now . A little bit of that time and effort will probably get some answers for you and you could be very proud of yourself for what you will do for your people

I'm sorry that comment I left you was so long but it tells you everything you need to do to get them to investigate what's been happening in your town and especially to get it on the news and in a documentary . Also yes contact this channel here real stories email them or call them whatever it takes and tell them about what's happening at your town and that you hope they'll make a documentary about it like they did with this farmer and tell them you'd like to talk to that farmer maybe they'll ask him to call you

You are an extremely ignorant science illiterate liar. *GMO 25-year safety endorsement: 280 science institutions, more than 8,000 studies* "Currently, there is a social and political controversy about the safety of foods produced from genetically modified (GM) crops. However, in the scientific community, there is no dispute or controversy regarding the safety of these crops. To date, more than 3,000 scientific studies [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8] have assessed the safety of these crops in terms of human health and environmental impact. These studies together with several reviews performed on a case-by-case from regulatory agencies around the world have enabled a solid and clear scientific consensus: GM crops have no more risk than those that have been developed by conventional breeding techniques. In addition, there is also extensive literature that compiles the socioeconomic and environmental benefits that transgenic crops have reported in two decades of commercialization [9,10]. This document brings together the public statements of technical and scientific institutions that adhere to this consensus. I made an update based on this document from ChileBio that initially included 40 official documents representing about 190 institutions - the document from ChileBio was subsequently updated in 2017 with the institutions and statements attached here. The update shows that 284 technical and scientific institutions recognize the safety of GM crops and their potential benefits. Interestingly a large part of these institutions are located in Europe, the continent that has put more obstacles to the commercialization of these crops. On the other hand, the countries with most organizations in favor of GM crops are United Kingdom (33), United States (25), Italy (23), Spain (16) and Germany (11). In conclusion, 284 technical and scientific institutions recognize that GM crops are not riskier than those produced by conventional breeding, and/or the potential benefits of these crops." geneticliteracyproject. org/2017/06/19/gmo-20-year-safety-endorsement-280-science-institutions-more-3000-studies/

No one paid attention because most believed that we needed to look after our own and people in other countries shouldn't be our concern. Had we nipped this in the bud it wouldn't be happening here today. Monsanto's approach to seed ownership is a great example why unregulated capitalism doesn't work. There's a lot of silly pseudoscientific opposition to GM crops, but the real issue with GM is that it's not sufficiently regulated to protect farmers from companies like Monsanto that are exploiting them. In many ways the public hysteria around GM crops that speculates wildly about negative health effects works too Monsanto's benefit. They would rather their opponents focus on that - because it has no scientific backing whatsoever and it's also economically unrealistic to think that you can feed the world at it's current population with affordable crops without relying on industrialized production and GM. So long as Monsanto can point to opponents who are simply irrationally afraid of GM technology, they can get away with exploiting agricultural labor.

While I'm generally pro-GMO, I think that the practice of patenting seeds needs to be seriously looked at, or just banned outright. I think patented seeds could be clearly identifiable. They could be a different colour or shape to mark them out as modified. This would then be required to prove that the farmer deliberately saved the patented seed. I also think that farmers should have the right to save seed anyway, but not sell them to other farmers. This is where patent-holders Then patent holders would only be able to go after cases that they know were sold. That said, I think the best option would be to ban the practice outright. Even with those measures, it would be hard to determine if a farmer saved patented seed by accident, or is running an underground operation to distribute patented seeds.

If you have created a patentable trait then apply for a patent same as everyone else. Merely saving seeds is not patentable. Seed patents are for traits not the crop. If a farmer does not want to buy a patented corn seed then he can buy any number of non-patented corn seeds.

there is a solution to this problem. if they claim to own the seeds, a request and further a court order can be made for them to remove all of their property from your land in a timely manner (as it is interfering with your right to use/enjoy your property) without destroying your property and interfering with your use of property. Following a period of time, their property will be considered abandoned and rights to it are optional to the land owner. If they decide they still claim it as property then Compensation will be due for any measurable period of interference in your right to use/enjoyment of property, and any damage or disturbances to your property that is not restored to its original state in the process of them not removing their property. as long as you haven't signed these rights away in a purchase agreement with the seed company, they can and should be held accountable.
