Im glad i had found this running group segment. For years i was told i was running in the wrong type of shoe. I had been running in neutral instead of stability running shoes. As soon as i changed up, the running times were better including my form. I plan on getting the brooks glycerin gts

I saw a lot of brooks ghosts at my marathon pace and almost no super shoes . My marathon was 5:22. I'm nervous about using my ghosts for a marathon. I'd love to see these numbers at different race paces my guess is the faster the runner the more changes they use a race day shoe.

I just bought the Brooks Glycerin Max and it’s brilliant! My legs and feet never felt so well taken care of after a long run. Brooks is stepping up their game now and it’s exciting to see.

Brooks really work for me. I love the HM2. It's been my most favorite shoe ever. It would be nice to know that if one shoe works for me, what other shoes in the Brooks line-up would also work. So if the HM2 works, what daily trainer would give me the same habitual motion pathway as that shoe does, but for faster paces, racing, etc.

Great episode!

Oh, and I look for responsiveness and forefoot stability in a racer.

Very good clip. The new part for me was the clear distinction between the recreational runner and the pro in terms of shoe criteria. Brooks is not too available in Romania as of now, maybe this will change.

@38:00 I'd love to see some PCA plots of how runners bunch up into different clusters (at least that's how I'm visualizing it), and what shoes go with which clusters.

OG Ghost Max for Metatarsalgia, this is the second video through the channel I'm getting this information from. Currently dealing with pain which seems to associate with this condition. Will run in my OG Ghost Max for a while to hopefully while dealing with this issue. Any other shoes or shoe types good for Metatarsalgia?

I think the healthy limit for most people is half marathon.. I am senior and will not do another marathon.. I do find the idea of Ultra interesting.. Long endurance probably better for older folks.. 🎉

This is for the Brooks Development team: I hate that this shoe doesn’t work for me. (GLYCERIN MAX) Tried my usual size, went a half size up, no matter what the shoes shape, seemingly from the foam on the inner right-side on the left foot at the mid foot and the inner left side on the right foot would take chunks of skin off of my feet, worst blisters I have ever experienced. The abrupt foam sidewall is a problem. A lot of folks seem to feel it’s wide, I don’t see how. I have a regular D width foot and this shoe as well as the More V5 seems to have this weird inner foam cradle construction that just pushes against the sides of your feet causing bad blisters. I know I’m not the only one experiencing this. Really hope brooks corrects it in the next version. I really enjoyed the rocker, the foams underfoot feel and the upper, it was a great shoe, unfortunately didn’t work for me without injuries, wasted a bunch of money on shipping too.

You said Asics and then brooks. Which shoe are you referring to?

@ corrected

Gotcha! Yeah good to know since I have similar issues in a lot of shoes. Sc elite v4, topo specter 2s, rebel v3s, and kinvara pros have worked for me 🙏

same issues with the shoe for me, I'm convinced it's the lacing being off center combined with the width of the shoe
@JacobiusSuarinious-u2k2 күн бұрын
@ a support agent from Brooks reached out to me and let me know they will not be selling a wide version, in case anyone was hoping for one. Yeah I think that lacing system is a major design flaw.
