Way-To-Go my friend! CONGRATS! BTW-whenever any vehicle exceeds its ability (in speed) to have the directional controls steer--it just keeps on goin ! When I was a teenager I got into a 62 chevy with some friends and the driver took 'er up to 122 mph - he then said "watch this" and he quickly turned the steering wheel left and right BUT the car kept going straight. The wheels were skidding on the pavement-No steering control with quick flips of the steering wheel. I think it was from that moment that I said "I need to study engineering!" And I did!

You can thin down the wings to the max... the thinner the less drag and resistance you'll get.. remember that mo pawa ain't the only way!!

This is cool! did you have to change out the servos and beef up the ailerons for control at that speed? My Dolphin at a measly 130 is starting to have control issues at max speed.

Nope mines stock control surfaces, with metal gear e max servos and hits 160 no problem. 6s 2414 1750kv 60 amp esc on 6x6.5 prop at 9600 feet above sea level. Was easy to launch too... Still haven't found a good motor/prop combo to get faster and still launch reliably. 3110 900kv and 12s may be the hot ticket.

I suppose you could go cheesy and use a hobby rocket motor. Would set a new top speed, even if for a few seconds.

I think the plane is just going so fast that with it being foam, everything bends and tweaks. I don't think there is a whole lot you can do to fix it other than to cross your fingers and send it🫡

That's what I've been doing. Once it starts to try and kill it self I just reduce throttle and she comes back to level and stops trying to death spiral

@@RickEllis-w6f First of all I don't fly FPV My dolphin only has what it needs inside Including an FR sky pito telemetry and gps box ! I reinforce the elevons with carbon fiber cloth I use high torque AOG mini metal gear servos With carbon reinforced push rods ! Everyone else is missing the 200 mark because they are running pancake quad style motors And trying to run high cell count in big diameter props ! Small diameter and high pitch is what gives the miles an hour ! I'm running a high KV inrunner With a 4.25 inch prop and 5.5 pitch on 4s @ 1800 watts with a high quality 100c battery (2800 mah.) And castle 100 lite esc. I also did a few other minor mods to the fuselage for drag reduction! Good luck to all at catching me LOL. GOING FOR 220 MPH THIS WEEKEND!!

You should put on some 6" capable motors like Xnova 2806.5/2808 and remove those air brakes like the pan-/tilt tower in the front and swap inlets to naca styled ones, THEN we can talk about speed. ✌️

Don't be butt hurt. How was this fake? Did my speed increase from a smaller number to a bigger number, yes that's how going faster works. I would assume at the speed the gps refresh rate was lagging a bit behind considering I was going so freakin fast buddy. The whole speed run including the take off was recorded without any cuts. And I also explained what I was going to do ahead time. USA USA!

Also you overlay sound track of the sound of more than 2 quad motors gives it away as fake its bull

Duh, the sound is fake. DJI O3 doesn't record audio. Notice how there isn't any wind noise too. Also the music in the background was added as well. Plus the graphic overlay was adding in too. I know there will always be a hater in the comments and that's okay. Love you bye.

Why didn't you run all 3 motors for more speed using higher amps on 8s and lower kv motors go for 3 motors and be the first to do so

I'm still learning, that's why. I have only been doing this for 1 year and 1 month. I had Walmart rc toys but never had a plane, drone, flight controller, 3d printer, radio system, etc, etc. So I feel I'm doing pretty good so far. Also, my flight controller only supports up to 6s.
