I wish there were more of those cars… I find myself looking back in the past for examples to buy cheap rwd fun cars, but the problem is they’re from the past… old as hell now a lot of them with lots of miles. I’d rather lightweight and fun/stimulating than just power, but I wouldn’t be one to complain if a lightweight power had a shitton of power

@@hectichive889 all new cars are expensive. I’d say inexpensive buy today’s standard is under $40k. You limit yourself to a Miata, and 86. There’re many used options under $40k low mileage reliable sports cars. I personally own a 92 Miata with 118k miles and it’s extremely reliable (you should expect to pay $6k-10k for a good one. I also own a 22 Bronco 2 doors with Manual, while not lightweight, with 340hp and RWD it’s a full joy to drive, and you can go off grid with it- it was $33k , but now they’re more even used.

I’ve seen lucid burning on an intersection near me. Burned throug tarmac and a lamp post and was burning all day. First there were 3 fire trucks than they put it one a side and only one stayed it reignited once every while, even when it started raining… great cars, great idea all that water jeeez great

To answer the end question: No, cars are not too fast. We simply are not asking enough of drivers before they are allowed to drive. If we had to take a license test to get into certain vehicles, then that would help a lot. Also, random retesting would help too. I'm sure some would say that was totalitarianism over freedom . However, I would argue that some freedoms are not "deserved" and SHOULD BE EARNED! Thanks for another great vid!

Well in April 10, 2024 California Legislature is Voting to add a 10 mile per hour over Posted Speed Limit.. to all 2027 cars including those who don't subscribe to GPS Service. Now the rest of the Vehicles GPS or Online Service from today and the Last Few Years, will receive an Over the Air Upload for the Speed Limiter. This means weekends at the Racetrack will not work well for modern Daily. Performance Cars, such as the HellCats, GT500, GT350, Camaro SS ZL1... you could have 1,600 hp and it wouldn't matter. California Started the All Electric Vehicles (EV's) Mandate for 2035. Then Biden got elected, and the 1st of office Biden appointed the Same initiative for the Nation.. It's Possible the Same will happen if Biden gets re-elected...
