I'm wondering why the put an air shock on the back. I tried air shocks on my 11x and found they are not adequate because the scooter's weight plus my weight (210 lbs) makes it impossible to not bottom out the air shock. I even got the Rockshox Monarch RT3 ($300 shock) that holds 350 PSI and pumped it all the way up and it would still bottom out to easily. The rear shock needs to be stiffer than the front as it holds more weight. I'm wondering if the suspension geometry of the Bronco is such that the shock doesn't need to be as stiff, or if they just made a bad design choice. I had to use a 2,000 lbs spring on the rear of my 11x and no air shock on the market (that can fit on the scooter) can reach that level of stiffness.

You are right, it is about the suspension geometry. With a C-Type Suspension Scooter an Air Shock is a very bad idea because the C-Forks act like a nut cracker amplifying the force to the shock (so lower travel but more force on the shock). With the shock mounted like this there is more travel of the shock for the same up/down movement of the wheel but less force amplification (this is more like what the air shocks were actually designed for in bikes). So this is a case of smart engineering. Also Air shocks dont like the dirt and gravel which is also a reason this placement is better for them - good engineering of the bronco team!

It works really well on this scooter because the air shock is horizontal. Where the ZERO 10X and ZERO 11X are more vertical so they do bottom out.

Great video! But similar to e-bikes if you buy a brand that is not sold locally you have to do the repairs yourself or pay to ship it back to the manufacturer. As a heavy rider (280lbs) compared to the average tester who may be in the 165 range, it's also hard to say how the scooter will perform at heavier loads.

This can be seen on other Sinewave Controllers too - yes they help in creating that smooth feel. But it is still a bit up to the manufacturer how they tune the throttle pickup. I have a Blade 10 with a (weaker) Sinewave Controller and it feels buttery smooth but still powerful.
