Top speed is somewhat useless since it requires afterburners, and the fuel consumption is extreme. The ability to supercruise is much more useful. The MiG 25 and 31 Foxbats were the fastest USSR "fighters", but they would be easily outmatched by a much slower F-16, in a dogfight. Likewise, stealth has made agility less important, and an F-22 can kill four F-15 Eagles before they know they've been targeted. The F-22 is a bit slower than an F-15 (Mach 2.3 vs Mach 2.5), but is a much more effective air superiority fighter.

The pak 50 is notoriously underpowered, it's low observables characteristics or "stealth" only exist from the front and even those have been brought into question. In my opinion..they are building these fighter's wrong......They are building the fighter's and then try to add on thing's to work with it......2 aircraft that i know were built around the weapons instead ..those are the A-10,that was built around the GAU 30MM cannon...and the F-14 which was built for the phoenix Missile system. If they built a True air Superiority Fighter around a weapons system first while highlighting capacity and long range lock on capabilities and then built the engines and stealthy aircraft around it ,i bet you would have a far superior fighter with better range and capable of taking down more than 2 or 3 fighter's before having to go and reload......This 6 to 8 missiles per plane is BS in my opinion....but i guess they think that smaller is always better to them.

PDu30 should rquest the US Govt to Donate 24 units F-14 tomcat and 36 units F-16 block 70, F-14 carries more weapons and has an advance avionics, tested in real combat in Iraq, Afganistan and Libya, F-16 block 70 were used by Israeli in demolishing Iraqi Nuclear plant and now being used and Syria it can fly a dangerous 35M above ground on plain. Philippines to pay for restoration and upgrading cost, these are being replace by F-15E ( upgraded ), F-22 and F-35 and the 6th generation X-Planes, fighter planes now under testing and possible deployment in 2022, the fighter planes being requested for self defense and safeguarding our EEZ, follow up also the past administration purchased of 8 units F-22 Raptors now under assembly as mainstay for WPS defense to run after enemy in enemy's tirretory and comeback.
