That battle on Fulda really shows the potential of scout drones. Perfect vision across an open map, while still behind perfect cover. Crest hill, laser it, hit it before they could possibly see you. I'm not saying it was a bad idea to add them but it REALLY makes light vehicles more powerful on maps like this.

I fucking love Germany 9.7. I got Leo2k first, got a whole bunch of backups and expert crew’d it. I researched all the way to this light tank and I can’t wait. 2k now has my most matches and it’s insane how much I’ve learnt rushing to odd parts of the map. This seems like a 2k on steroids with the drone too. What a 9.7 line up you can rock :)

@@SwampSnake21 the thing than scouting using drones for your team doesnt give any assists kinda sucks. I sometimes behave like a drone operator and help the BMP's and 2s38's in my team mag dump through a forest at a target they cant see lol

@@soumyadeepchoudhury3201 yeah you should get something. I don't use this line up for grinding or trying to get SL. I'm happy to just help the team and try win for the win bonus. It's all very situational. Some nights I only use the scout drone to find the last player or see if sight lines are clear. It's a nice light tank to use in line ups. Are you working out a route through the tech tree? What do you usually play / use? :)

Idk whether the radkampf shouldve been moved.. but from playing russia i think people really overrate thermals. Felt i was seeing people i know have could have thermals if spaded, the same time they saw me mostly if i wasnt being reckless. Commander thermals are sick tho.. not to mention, they dont do anything for you in 3rd person unless you get the glitch for a sec 😅

It would make sense to up the BRs of the Type 16's since they are too good for the BR but, then imagine, at 9.0 you have 1 decent vehicle, and its a premium, i think thats the main reason they dont up the BR on those things, the already pretty bad line up would be even worse

Extremely fun but the round deviation is pretty shite. Not like it's meant to snipe, but it still sucks a bit at medium range. And like most AA, totally ineffective against missile drones.

At 5.3 you can play the most braindead playstyles as german. Rush in kill them all. Angle property and you win most battles.

Angle and use APHE. That's all. Tigers for pushing, Panthers for sniping. Find something you can't quite pen? Track and barrel torture. Wirbelwind>any Ostwind Level your crews.

5.3-5.7 germany might feel braindead to experienced players but i remember being new to the game and having a horrible time in my new tiger H1. First of all, the enemies you face at this tier are much better than what youre used to. Pro players dont typically play low tier (1.0-4.0) but they do play mid and high tier. The main issue i had back-when was the m18s and t34-85s always flanking me and getting easy one-shots from the side. And this is really the biggest and only weakness of 5.3 germany. The lack of speed and general inexperience of german teammates makes it really easy for the enemy to get to good flanking positions and farm kills on unsuspecting germans. What to do is to try and keep distance when possible, the enemy has a much harder time aiming for weakspots and flaking you if youre far away, german guns also preform best at range. Remain very aware and use your C key and binoculars often to scout for possible flankers. You also dont always need to rush forward, especially if your team has the caps. Find a good defendable position where you can snipe at enemies making their way to a cap over a field or if your in a city, preferably sit in a place where you can see down a long street that enemies often cross but also make shure youre back and sides aren't exposed while youre focusing forward. More specific tips: Always angle your tiger, never angle you panther. Tiger has very strong side armour, panther is very weak. Kill jumbos by shooting their machinegun-port. Sometimes they hide it with bushes but if you memorise the location of it you wont have a problem. Use the in-game protection analysis, test common enemy tank that are hard to pen against the 88 and long 75 and also test common guns against your own tanks like the American 75 and 90, the russian 85, 100 and 122, british 17-pounder etc. Also, dont carry more than 30 rounds of ammo, i tend to go with 22 aphe shells and 2 he shells. Dont bother with apcr. HE is good against any opentop tank like m18 or AA trucks like ZSUs and m42s. Test how the ammo load-out looks by test-driving and pressing O. Thats all i can think of.
