Trying to use fast and small gremlin tanks in War Thunder leads to a high risk high reward playstyle. The R3 T106 FA is one of the fastest vehicles in the game, but its inconsistent damage and lack of rounds does hurt it a bit.

The machine guns on top of the recoilless rifle are designed to have the same arc as the round itself, so they can easily be used for aiming the round. Good to know for people who are new to those kind of tank guns.

Yeah, they're a range finding tracer. The only disadvantage is that the enemy vehicle will be alerted when hit - so, best to range find right next to the enemy tank! Ironically this SMG does act as a "hit" on a tank, yet you can shoot a human in the game (like the M56 loader, M18 commander) in the head and they'll just turn orange, they need two hits to die. Fun times!

The MGs on the top have the same muzzle velocity as the main guns. So if you can hit something with them then you can hit them with the main guns.

If the US AA line needed a new low-tier vehicle, I'd recommend the T69 MGMC. It's an M8 Greyhound armed with four .50 cal. maching guns, similarly to the M16 in a new semi-armored turret made by the Maxson Corporation. However the anti-aircraft board saw this vehicle as inferior to the M16 & the project was closed.

Was playing the fv4005 today. Shot at a bmp, hit low, the hesh bounced off the ground and detonated midair above the bmp, didn’t actually kill it but it did register as a hit. So that means that the hesh not only bounced off the ground it also had a delayed explosion and was registered and confirmed by the server. Gaijin is truly tweaking.

Little advice for R3 T106 and Fiat players. The 50 Cal linked to the canon have the same velocity as the HEAT of the main gun. If you don't want to wast time on telemeter or be more accurate you can use the tracers of the 50 cal to see where you are going to hit. It's like Enderpearls and snowballs in minecraft.

Best thing you can do with the R3 T106 is rushing the enemy cap on Hurtgen forest at the start of the match. you oftentimes get there before the enemy does. even better with two R3s to cause maximun chaos
