i think people don’t realize how strong the mobility of the leclerc is. especially the s1, where you can race to any position you want because you accelerate and hold speed so much. i’ve been first spawning it over the sxxi and i really enjoy it.

Realistically, Leclercs could all get OFL 120 F2 and a 5 second reload, France has been left in the dark for a long time and they still don't even have a good IFV amongst other things that would make the French tree feel complete.

on the vbci..... There's like 15 versions of it in real life. And exactly ONE of them has a lower caliber gun and no missiles. All the other versions have a higher caliber gun (like a 50mm), or ATGMs. That one version that doesn't have a high caliber gun or missiles exists as a single one-off tradeshow prototype done by a middle eastern arms integrator. And this is the one that was added to the game. A non-functional tradeshow prop that was made by a middle eastern country, and not in France like the other dozen versions of the vbci. Nope, gaijin just can't add any of the actual french VBCIs. Because then they'd have a better gun or ATGMs. And gaijin hates France.

gaijin has already addressed this. The reason they added the AZUR to the S2 and not and SXXI was because according to them the AZUR kits IRL were mainly mounted to S2 versions. Additionally, the one in game is specified to be based off an S2. So technically they did give us the *correct* AZUR, the debate is whether or not they should have given you the stronger SXXI version. Which I'm pretty sure will be added to the game eventually anyway.

I'll be the one to say it. Leclerc's should : - Have a 5s autoloader (debatably the mechanical speed can be faster, depending on gun position) - Have better rounds (OFL 120 F1 modernised, OFL 120 F2 DU shell, SHARD APFSDS) - Have internal armour (aka spall liner ?) for each crew member. - Have soft kill countermeasures with the Galix smoke system (which disrupts ATGM tracking) - Have IRST tracking capability (at least on helicopters) I should also point out that the VBCI got a small buff since it was introduced : - instead of ammo belts, it has ready rounds, which means it can now have 150 rds of continuous APFSDS while previously it was only 75 with a short reload. When it comes to aircraft : - M2000D should have at least five LGB pylons - M4000 could get a thermal pod and additional LGBs - Super Etendard should get a thermal pod, AS.30L & Magic II - All M2000's should get bigger bombs than 250kg : 400kg, 1000lb, 1000kg, including as LGBs for the relevant aircraft - Jaguar A should get Magic II

Current version have "late" ground strike weapon systems, but "early" A2A weapons, which is illogical. We, French players, complains. But as we are complaining in a constructive manner for gaijin to fix, and as we don’t CRY, as a pretty small community, Gaijin just doesn’t care about our thoughts. Even when providing open sources materials, they don’t care. As such, France is ALWAYS getting nerfed. Remember the EBR 1954 being at 4.7 ? It is now at 6.7 ! 7.7 lineup is now ruined and being at 8.0 versus stabs and laser rangefinder…. That is pretty hilarious than devs that NEVER played or play the game, actually changes BR just based on WR only. Gaijin just absolutely HATES France. At first i thought "eh, it would not happen that i grind French tanks", now one of my favourite BR is 8.3 with the AMX-30 DCA and the AMX-10RC, and even 9.3 was a fun experience (but i have to fill-up the line-up with another tank); for being 8.3 and without the stab, i rather prefer to enjoy a little more myself staying back and actually doing something sneaky with the AMX-10RC. Maybe one day i shall try the Leclercs, yet i have to grab the ItO as SAM...and maybe putting some talismans on then (with the next sales)

As someone with top tanks in several nations, I often Leclerc main. It’s an excellent all around tank and I have my best matches with France. It’s definitely been powercrept, but Leclerc has never been bad imo. Some better ammo is all it really needs. Combined with mirage 2k, France can be deadly in grb. Most fun to play for sure.

The difference in the leclercs gaijin wont add. The serie 21 is suppose to have titanium inserts. The newer leclercs can be easily manned by a single person. They have commander controlled transmissions (idk why gaijin wont add it) and the top tier dart has been nerfed (for some reason) also its able to achieve 12 rounds a minute with its autoloader. sincerely - probably the number 1 highest time played french main

I am a French main player and let me tell you guys - just don't grind France, Leclerc's are the worst high tier tanks just like Ariete's (although latter has a better pen dart, but worse in most other aspects), the mid tier to 7.7 was very good in the right hands, but they moved them to 8.0, practically killing those tanks If you want firepower, autoloader - go Japan If you want everything - go Sweeden or Germany If you want jack of all trades - go USA If you want stalinium - go USSR If you want good armour, but bad almost everything else besides ammo - go UK China - not sure Israel - not sure Just avoid France and Italy, Gaijin is destroying France and always nerfing them because experienced players have already researched Germany/USSR/USA and then go to play minor nations and do well statistically speaking, so Gaijin takes that data K/D and there is no issue to buff them, in fact these players are usually so good, they nerf or uptier the tanks instead Leclerc's need a reload rate buff and a better pen round as they have the lowest pen dart in the WHOLE game while being a NATO tank

So right off the bat: urban maps or dense forests/flat plains. Forget it, don’t even bother taking a helicopter, the only exception is desert city. The ONLY way you’re going to hide from SAMs and get kills is to fly somewhere that puts a mountain between you and the enemy SAMs and can overwatch caps. Trees will absolutely not hide you from radar and you need to drop everything you’re doing the moment an enemy jet comes out

I just revisited War Thunder and Top BR French. I found very little to complain about. However I mostly fought against Russian teams so I used only SAM systems and I never felt need to touch anything else. ince rush helicopters to atgm spam mhelicopters and CAS jets they kep feed me. Im in love with anti-air so it was candy crush for me XD Ever since the took away commander TVD from both leClerc in order to give it to two others I never played MBT's with French tree. But I have talisman on both lower BR LeClerc so why not to get the two big boys? Have fun and don't take anything serious! Love from Hungary!

The AuF1 and AMX-50 Foch can be fun to play but I can't say the same about the rest. The AMX-10M and AMX-30 ACRA are just painful ATGM vehicles. The Mephisto is alright. Not as good as its contemporaries (AFT-09, IT-1 etc) but it's alright. Personally, I skipped the line.

No. I wouldn't say so. I skipped it at first to get the 9.3 tanks to rush the 11.7 leclercs. And I grinded it afterwards. The vehicle itself is not bad but the lineup around is just plain bad. If you want to get to top tier asap skip it. If you plan to play the 8.7 lineup, go for it I would say

The leclerc s1 feels faster than sxxi and s2. Prob cuz its 3 tons lighter and feels as fast as a light tank

Why would I complain? The Leclerc is a great tank, it has great mobility and a good gun with a good reload which can reload faster then most other tanks. France also has the Mirage 2000-5F which is arguably one if not the best Cas plane in TopTier. France also gets the Tiger 2 HAD which is also in the top 3 best TopTier Helis, for me at least. It also gets the ItO 90M, the second best Spaa in game. France Top Tier just lacks new type of Vehicles for TopTier.

I agree on the most part of what you said but first, the Leclerc survivability is really mediocre, the turret might save you sometimes but else you're gonna be OS (especially because of the fuel that LOVES exploding), also the round is not that great for the actual standards (even if it doesn't really matter in top tier as you have to aim on almost every opponent but the enemies don't have to as you have next to no armor). I agree on the 2000-5F and now there is even the 4000 but the Tiger helicopter is just the ultimate pain in the ass to grind, i have almost all Leclercs but i'm stuck on that stupid H 34 which is HORRIBLE like there's no other vehicle in the entire game that just depress me more than this thing does when i play it.

I've just learned about the RCH 155, and I'd love to see it in the game in the future in the German tech tree (Either in the TD or Light Tank line). It's the same 155mm L/52 gun from the Panzerhaubitze 2000 mounted in a new crewless turret on top of the chassis of the Boxer.
