Being a law abiding citizen, I don’t see why the police find it surprising that people don’t want to press charges for things. What’s actually going to happen to the perp? You have to make a statement, press charges, maybe testify in court, etc… Meanwhile the charges are lessened or dropped and you now have a criminal with a “score to settle” with you and your family. If the courts actually handed out severe penalties for breaking the law, I think that more law abiding citizens would press charges. The guy that bit the other guy got 4 days in jail and a $100 fine that he probably didn’t pay.

That puts us at 25,000 deaths due to gun violence if we assume every death is a murder. If we do the math, then 0.0075% of people die to gun violence every year. And remember that only 1% of that is mass shootings. Yeah, we have such a problem.... On the opposite side, an anti gun group did a study and found that no less than 600,000 times a year someone uses a gun to defend themselves or someone else from a criminal meaning to do harm. 25,000 vs 600,000, the anti gun rhetoric is all lies.

As a LEO, it is so incredibly important to know and understand your statutes and not just go off what you've been told or taught in training. Carrying a gun into a private business that doesn't allow firearms in of itself is not criminal trespassing. It only becomes trespassing when the business asks you to leave and you refuse. Had the individual's story been true, he wasn't looking at a minimum of criminal trespass, he should be let go with nothing more. There is nothing in Ohio's trespass statute that backs up that claim.

@fear5735 No firearms allowed signs don't make it trespassing, regardless. You have to be told to leave and refuse to leave in order for it to be trespassing. Even with that, the police won't just take your word for it. They too will tell them to leave before arresting them

What smooth, 🥔 brain even thinks it's an option to get "escalated" with popo? They can talk to you anyway they want and if you get overly emotional over it to where you make bad choices and get "escalated" then it's a problem with you! As commenter said, "there is a time and a place, you need to have priorities". Be smart! Go along to get along, nothing you can do to win when the nation's most dangerous gang is on you.... that's it. Get them later in court if they treat you wrong...... I've had atleast 10 incidences with police that were awful and felt completely wrong that i can instantly recall, mostly traffic stops, but 4 times I've had them called on me for doing nothing wrong at all, while working!!.... Had my private owned work van with well known (established) company decals all over at the grocery store at 10pm at night after just getting off work. Someone from my apartment complex called on me, even tho I had lived there for over 6 months at this point, because they "thought it was strange that a plumbing van was driving around so late at night". I stopped home and realized i needed some things from the grocery store...Police found my van at the grocery store that I stopped at and was waiting for me in the parking lot, blocking my van in. They talked to me like I was some hardened criminal that they had a warrant for. Nevermind it was extremely clear and obvious what was going on when you see a plumber in a professionally put together uniform, dirty with the day's work that matched the van, pushing out a cart of food. They treated me like they were going to arrest me until they searched my van (with their "probable cause and all"). When my sotry and their perception finally 100% no doubt matched up they told me a concerned citizen called for the reason mentioned. No apology, no at ease friendly "yeah it is kinda silly", just "they called, you check out, now get outta here". They even questioned me about wether my employer knows I'm making personal runs in their van.... nope and wouldn't matter anyway because we (employees) had to buy the vans!.... Three other times I had them called on me as a contractor while working on empty homes that were for sale on the market. Guns drawn on me all 3 of those times, barking orders on edge.... nevermind the door is intact and open with keys in the lock and I'm working with new materials stacked and staged, a contractor truck parked outside and I'm putting new stuff in, not taking anything out. 1 of those 3 times I was open carrying my side arm and it was a real tense situation, I thought the on edge rookie was going to pop me in my back until his more seasoned partner came and slowly got my DL and found that I had a valid carry permit, when we needed to have it for conceal carry in my state, but it didn't matter anyway, because at that point we were an open carry state without permit. Dude shouldn't have been an officer if he's that uneasy with citizens exercising their 2 A rights!... But... Always barking orders and being condescending and rude even when you do everything calm, cool and collected and polite as you should. AND IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT SHADE YOU ARE EITHER. This has been my experience as a W man. I don't like that they act that way and I often think they are over the top and enjoying flexing that power and control over another a little too much but I know it's a no win situation to get angry and show out on them. Sometimes you have to bypass your ego to survive, especially with those whose job it is to do things and act in a way to "escalate" with a whole empowered system behind them that you can not beat. But hey, atleast some people can make their families pretty rich off of "testing the system" and losing. While others don't even get any attention, mention or second thought, no vids going viral on social media, no bleeding hearts arguing on their behalf in the comments, making them some kind of hero, just totally overlooked, dismissed and invisible.

The sign itself, if properly installed, is your trespass warning. If you go past the sign then you are remaining on the property after being asked to leave, ergo criminally trespassing. The owner of the property has the right to ask anyone to leave their property for basically any reason. Only a place “generally open to the public” has any sort of restrictions on who they can ask to leave. (So a store or other business lobby.) This is very typical in many parts of the US. This is why we see so many cases where someone has been charged for dozens of thefts, robberies, and assaults by time they're 20yo. I'm actually really surprised when I see someone get an appropriate sentence for their crime now. They've effectively weaponized a certain part of the US population by subsidizing single motherhood and giving extremely light sentences to repetitive violent offenders born from these broken households. This is how you cause a societal and economic collapse within a superpower nation, well at least part of how you do it. I bet other countries are laughing their asses off watching this nation become a zoo. 😐

@@r3d0ubt TLDR; due to the fact 72 million illegal migrants have crossed the border in the last 10 years (that's the average estimate, and no I'm not joking), they've begun displacing large impoverished communities in larger cities because they basically eat up all the lower income jobs due to the fact they don't have to be documented and thus can be paid less in an already dirt cheap income bracket. Because of this they have to move to smaller cities and more rural and suburb areas to find work, and by extension (and because typically lower class income brackets have little to no formal education due to societal pressures) the property values go down which causes an influx of migrants trying to also find work, which further exacerbates the problem. Its basically reverse-gentrification at a massive scale and there is virtually no way anyone can stop it at this point without borderline humanitarian violations, so it is what it is I guess; just get used to the increase in crime as time goes on.

Try watching footage from all races, not just one, and run your own data analysis. Don’t rely on biased reports-factor in all assumptions to get an accurate view. Every race has law-abiding citizens and incompetent individuals; people are shaped by many factors like upbringing, environment, and personal choices. Grouping people by race only adds to the problem. Instead of pushing naive, uninformed opinions, fact-check with primary data sources and historical context. You might realize your bias is deeper than you think.

We used to go to the mall all the time as teenagers. Played the arcade, hung out in the food court. Never a problem. Normal teenager stuff. I feel bad that kids today don't get to have that experience.

@@grimsonforce7504 I guess because if you’re smart and aware you can stay far away from trouble. I’m not going to stop living my life because some people don’t know how to act. These videos are for entertainment but they instill so much unnecessary fear in people.

@@HermitOnWheelsI would consider "staying far away from trouble" to be staying far away from "those" type of people. That IS being aware. Of reality.

Refusing to press charges on somebody that pointed a firearm at you, then bit your face is a huge red flag that he plans on getting justice, just not through the justice system.

This is insane. As someone from the UK this boggles my mind. There were innocent people & children in that mall & their lives were put in danger over some school beef from years ago.

What do you mean? Whose life was put in danger? You didn't watch the entire video or you just aren't very good at critical thinking.

The U.K. Will fit into Texas 2.5 times. 10 European countries will fit into Texas. I’m not sure you understand how massive the U.S. is. I have to drive 27 miles to the nearest freeway and anything that resembles a town. An actual market is 40 minutes away. If I get stuck out on the road there is no help. On top of that consider yourself lucky you’re an Island nation. Nice France 87 dead, Norway shooting of children, 2 recent German mass shootings, full auto AK47 France attack, Charlie Hebdo France shooting.. Nations with strict gun laws still have shootings. It worked for you and Australia because you’re surrounded by nothing but water…

@@jamesspeed2137 I don’t disagree. The amount of thugs carrying knives & machetes on the UK streets is unbelievable & so many victims.
