Hi Daniel, due to the room in which I record vocals, I always have a fan noise in the background. Please can you tell me if there's a way in Specralayers to remove it. For example, would you use something like the Voice De-Noise option to do it? I'm finding it a bit of a struggle so any advice would be much appreciated. Many thanks, Darren. : )

Hey Darren, the new Unmix > Noisy Speech option in Spectralayers 10 would be the first thing I'd try to remove fan noise from vocals as the new separation/de-noising algorithms do a better job than previous iterations

I tried to do this with spectralayers 11 and I can;t use the volume to make the breaths quieter. Is there something I am missing? I could do it in spectralayers 10 and it worked. Is there something different in 11? Thanks

Hard to say, the functionality is working fine in SL11. In the layers panel make sure you're using Standard Size so you can adjust the volume
