Thank you for your videos! When I try to export my sketchup drawing to autocad it shows the back edges lines, when I convert my layout file to pdf it also shows all the back edges line. Could you please tell me how to solve that?

You saved me once again. I could not get edges to soften or be hidden on a complex chair model. I had a hard time even getting a hold of this one particular chair model (very hard to import) and then when I finally had it I couldn't get the edges to hide. I tried and tried, finally I looked on your THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO SOFTENED AND SMOOTHED EDGES IN SKETCHUP and found the part about looking at the edges in terms of entities, and there I saw the little "eye" below you can turn off. And then finally my chair looked great. Very happy. I don't really go to the forum, I just come here.

Your videos are immensely helpful! Thank you for putting these together ❤ the pace and timing is perfect. They are not drawn out and slow, just quick and to the point: youtubing perfection 👌 Thanks for putting these together. I'm just getting started learning and have subscribed to you as my teacher :)

Another good tip! When I subscribed to your channel you had less than 50,000 subscribers. Now with every video I check to see whether you've topped 350,000. Best wishes for continued success.

Thank you!! Watching the tutorial in sketchup academy and couldn't find the soften edges tool. Now I know where it is. 😁😁

Justin, I run across a lot of your videos when looking up Sketchup features (I work primarily in Revit and some engineering tools). I wanted to thank you for you content. I also want to share a suggestion that this type of video is much more helpful than some of your older videos. It's much faster, to-the-point, more straightforward, without any reiteration or redundancies, and no "what's up guys", etc. I can't speak for others, but for me personally, the approach you used in this video is far more effective and helpful for me. Thanks again :)

Can you do a tutorial that shows how to create a dynamic component that has the ability to add different handle types in the attributes and then select them from a list in the component options? There's a door from pcmoor in the 3D warehouse where you can change the handle but I don't know how they did that.

How do you get items to come out of the warehouse WITHOUT the hidden geometry? Suddenly every item has its hidden geometry on and the View>Hidden Geometry toggle isn't turning it off.

If you are 3D printing a model you will discover that some of these add ons that hide geometry print badly in that they try to slice and print the hidden stuff.
