@@Tdi99 Haven't mastered it yet, but anecdotally, I seemed to be in the faster group of people off the line in the last few races. I think I'm still a little slow coming off the pedal clutch and losing some time, but no spin, single button release start.. works well!

Nice work! It's a little tricky but with practice you will definitely master it! Not having wheel spin is a huge gain!

Hey nice video thank you :) I would like to suggest to you to use the reset option in the single player mode than you don't have to drive out of the pit over and over again when you do a video like this :) but thanks for your work helped me very much

I tend to max revs without the engine cutting out (so all lights lit on the wheel but not to the point that the engine cuts) and then drop the clutch completely from 100%, then 100% throttle once I feel the grip--- have had some amazing starts this way but I have no idea how good it actually is lol

Well if its working I would say it's good! As long as the auto clutch it's stepping in

What is the dash you use to get the times there? I feel like you said it, but I did quite catch it. Unless its Z1 Dashboard at which point, I'm just not seeing the one you used.

Haha no worries mate, it is Z1 Dashboards. If your in sim you can right click on the dash and it will bring up 2 arrows on the side. Then you can cycle through all the dashs and find the acceleration one that I used in this video

A bit late to the party but I use full throttle on neutral and shift up, and i've never had that wheel spin you got there. I think my clutch is on auto blip, maybe that's the difference?

Yes that is probably what it is. My clutch is on anti-stall. I would think that when you pull away there is a light blue line on the clutch pedal inputs that would be the auto clutch. 👍👍

Good video! By the way, it's dual not duel - unless you planning on fighting someone with your clutch ha. Also it's not a tenth but a hundredth (and 5 thousandths) difference 7:50

How do you set your clutch paddles to a percentage? I have the paddles but im not sure how to do that

All depends on your manufacturer. I have fanatec so I can set the percent on the wheel. If your pedals and wheel are from different companys, you can set your clutch pedal up normally, and in sim under the controls tap there is a option for a second clutch. You then can set this to your wheel clutch which means both the pedal and padals will work

Any reason you're going with 34%? I tend to use 22% bite point and don't get any wheel spin.

mainly to keep the revs higher, and have more clutch slip. if you are not getting wheel spin then there will only be a few hundredths between the 2 starts

Great video! Thank you! I use dual clutch, and I like 33-34 bite point also. Would the process be the same for F3, F3.5, and W12? Just changing the bite point? I’m trying to figure out how to start 3.5 as everyone passes me on the start. Can’t shift while still holding the secondary clutch.

Glad you like it! Yes to the F3 bite point should be the same. F3.5 has alot more power so you will have to try half throttle and full throttle. The W12 you can burn out your clutch so you have to be super careful on throttle. I have seen a few people start in 2nd gear!

Yes Z1 is separate, you have to pay but I can't remember how much. If you have a Google there might be other options like using telemetry?
