Not sure why there aren't more subscribers. These is very well done, a lot better than many of the other videos on Half Dome. Great narrative, voice and pacing, also get a personal sense of who these climbers were and what went wrong.

The incline at half dome is not "almost vertical." It might feel like it, but it's actually a 45% grade. There is no doubt many of those who climb Half Dome don't have the proper respect for nature and mountains in particular, and overestimate their own abilities.

The park needs to either make Half Dome safer for the average hiker, or only allow people on it who are very experienced at this kind of climb. These deaths were preventable. I'm confused as to why so many people die on Half Dome but the park does nothing to decrease the risk.
