This is a dream truck of mine...I had 2 hard bodies but still want one of these...true wide body means you widen the door panels but fender flares are dope! Thanks for sharing

Love the build. I have a mate who put a ca18 in one of these only to find out it had a big end knock. He was pissed. The seller he bought it from would not answer the phone. Sooo... He drove to his house 2hrs away and walked in his living room, made the bloke he bought the motor from drive over 100km to pick the busted motor up and refund him. True story. Loved that ute.

This is BADASS. You know you can just grab some open wheel trailer arches from like a bass pro shop or somethin and just weld thoes in for the new front wheel wells

Drop spindles may help get you some usable suspension travel out of the front. Putting a bigger notch in the rear and raising the upper bag mounts will give some useable travel in the rear. Trailer fenders make good engine bay tubs

Does swapping front and rear axles from other trucks make it more easier? Like wide axles to avoid touching the firewall? Just my imagination, haven't done anything like that before.

Ive seen bigger piles of Turd before, I can't recall when but..... :) Please tell me that engine is disappearing? If you are going to be cutting all that? You may as well as cut out the entire firewall and trans-tunnel out while your at it. Suddenly the world is your oyster for power options ;) Good luck turning though the way its cut now it will rub the inside rear edge of the tire. Slice it open probably if in reverse. Don't think spacers is going to be enough to get to wheel lock on the drivers side at least.

The fronts are gonna cause issues, particularly when you try to go round corners. You need to open up the front wing (fender) a lot more for tyre clearance for lock to lock on the steering. To give you an idea of how much you will need to remove, measure the diameter of the tyre then take a measurement of the diagonal of the front inner of the tyre to the rear outer of the tyre. The difference is the amount you will need to remove from the front to rear measurement of the wheel arch at the centre point of the wheel. Hope this helps

For the wide body look your going for, idk how ur gonna pull it off in the front but for the bed I'd suggest using a bed from a Chevy shortbed stepside. Super easy to cut off the fenders and follows the look ur going for

Hi all, i see you cut and slash for the wheels... All looks good but... Turn youre wheels and see if there is any contact with the metal coz you need to steer that thing while driving and tires are not cheap. Good luck

I'm really liking this build so far, but I have to say one thing. Please don't give this car away like the A4. I feel like the overall quality of the build will be better and more fun if you guys if you build it for yourselves. I also think the time crunch with the A4 makes it harder to have fun with the build. It was fun watching the MR2 videos because for a while it was an ongoing project where you would keep perfecting the car for yourself. It's just my opinion but keep up the awesome videos!
