tears streaming down my face. chris you have single handily made the most traumatic and terrifying time in my life , bearable my fiance was in a fatal car accident last march and the night i found out and the next day i had to make a 4 hour drive to the hospital he was life flighted to. i only was able to listen to you and it kept me calm and not completely sick to my stomach to make it to the hospital. i spent that week in the hospital with him only watching you chris. you are my comfort in so many way

@@unhinged it was such a trying time but by the grace of all things good he survived and overcame his surgeries and PT. we truly bonded over unhinged that week in the hospital it was the only thing we could listen to, before it was really just my favorite podcast to throw but now it truly holds so much peace and comfort each week! we love u chris

Ok.. Chris saying to comment family drama that any of us have is both funny and dangerous at the same time 😂 so i'm gonna share mine and try not to make it extremely long. A few months ago in June, it was just a few days before July, I got hospitalized for 3 days for having 2 seizures in 1 day. After my mom hearing about me being hospitalized, she drove 10.5hrs on the 3rd day that I was in the hospital, from British Columbia to Alberta, Canada. I didn't know that she was coming and when she arrived at the hospital, she then proceeded to discharge me and take me back to BC against my will with all of my belongings already packed into her car. Once I saved up some money while living with my mom, I bought a plane ticket in August and booked it for September 10th. Over the weeks leading up to the 10th, I slowly started packing all the things that I knew weren't noticeable enough to get questioned about them being missing. On the final night before leaving, after my mom left for work I finished packing all of my noticeable stuff and then pulled an all nighter since it was an early flight and I had to take the bus all the way across town to the airport. When I left the next morning, my mom got a notification on the ring camera and wouldn't stop txting me to go back to the house, and then called my lil sister to go after me to bring me back. My mom also contacted my dad about it, and then HE started to call and txt me non stop. When I finally arrived in the city I booked the flight too, my dad was there and my nana was there waiting for me for when I landed. My friend was supposed to pick me up, but she lost track of time and hadn't left her house yet. There was no way I would've been able to procrastinate for 45mins at the airport so I just went with my dad because he said all he wanted to do was talk about what was going on and then drive me to my best friends house in which I was moving into. He lied. He drove me to a city that was halfway between where I was previously living and was moving back too, and the city where he lives and we had lunch there. He then drove to the city that he lives in to grab his medication before driving me all the way back to my mom's. I have a horrible relationship with my mom that isn't repairable, it's been that way since I was around 11yrs old (I am now almost 23). I get treated like trash, she's mentally/emotionally abusive and treats me as if I were her and my lil sister's maid. I don't have that great of a relationship with my sister either, but we still get along from time to time. My mom recently made a deal with me promising, that if I got a neuropsychological assessment done, that she'd drive me back herself in the spring with all of my things. She's now starting to break that promise. After hearing my assessment results 2 weeks ago, she now won't stop trying to get me to find a place to live here, or in the city in which I have other family in thats a 1.5hrs drive away. I'm tired of always being unhappy, I was finally happy after moving away to Alberta, especially after finally finding some genuine friends. Growing up I never had a single friend that was genuine, so to finally find that made me super happy. I got unwillingly ripped away from happiness twice and I'm determined to not make it 3rd. I was gonna try to make it not so long, but I ended up making it long, otherwise some things just wouldn't have lined up in my family drama story.
