Thank you for posting this Alecia, this is so timely for me. I’m in a season where I have more financial resources than ever….but no peace. I’m pretty sure I was happier when I was making less money and had less to worry about. I’m “self-made”, no family or parental support and now that I have a family of my own, the fear of losing the resources I worked to build up is sooo scary and at times down right paralyzing. I lucked out getting a job in tech making good money but I hate it and I don’t belong. I also don’t have a degree so most times I feel like I should just shut up and be thankful but my job crushes my soul. Anyway, said all of that, to say this: thank you for sharing your thoughts and gifts with us. I always feel better when I listen to you. ❤

I’m honestly hurting from abuse, and I hate the fact that I allowed it to happen. I’m learning to acknowledge the hurt.
