Having 2 pairs of glasses when you have a toddler is essential! I've even bought a really cheap pair form online as my toddler likes to try on my glasses and I can't see with them so need spares! 👓🤓

Loved this vlog! Totally feel a bit rusty with normal social interaction after the past two years! And it seems like a lot of other people do too. Things like making eye contact, doing small talk and holding a casual conversation just feel so unnatural when you haven't been around people much.

My husband struggles socially now. He’s been WFH since March 2020 and it’s always so awkward when he talks to people in public. He says strange things, of no relevance, and he says he has real anxiety about seeing people he knows in public now because of it.

Yesss I totally feel that with conversations toooo! I think that with zoom conversations we give each other alot of space when talking and silent moments so that no one is talking over each other. But In real life we don't need those gaps in conversation because we can read the body language and other signals that we can't read on zoom. So I think that at first that's why everything feels like we are socially awkward all of a sudden!! It gets better fast thou!!

Problem with vlogging in public is carrying an ever more expensive phone with all your personal info at arm’s length. I think just ambient footage and then the commentary from home would be equally good.

I've gone with clearer frames for a couple years now and I love it! Just like you said, less heavy in the face. Esp for me as I wear them 24/7. I've gotten from warby parker (us based), seems similar concept to ace and Tate. Will be trying them now I'm in europe

The higher up on the ear you go, the longer it takes to heal in my experience. Less blood flow there or something. I’ve had 3 in both ears for many years and the third (highest) one still frequently will get infected.

Worked at an optometrist for a few years and we seized hinges come in all the time. A little WD40 sprayed on the hinge works a treat!

Me toooooo Oh my God! I always get an infection on piercings :( I feel so seen. I've pierced my second hole twice now and was so vigilant the second time round and nope. It got infected. Very un-fun.
