I mean, statistically speaking, those are just the odds of that singular possibility. If you consider the odds that he'd lose that exchange (from the Misdreavus death, assuming thunder punch kills after hyper beam), then because one hit self in confusion ends it, the actual odds of him losing at all from that scenario are .1*(.5)+.1*(.05*.55), to make a total of 5.275% chance that he'd lose, assuming Umbreon swaggers turn 1 and he never breaks out of confusion. The funny part is, if he just drill pecked, the odds of him losing would be 50/50, which are much worse, but in this particular scenario, it would have worked.

@@TaismoFanBoy Thank you. Too often people look at some specific probability and say "wow look at these tiny odds!" when really there's a lot of different possibilities of significance. To everyone else: small probabilities are meaningless by themselves. Shuffle a deck of cards, then lay out the cards one by one. There's a 1.24*10^-64 chance you'd have gotten that specific order. It doesn't mean you beat the odds, it just means that any specific order of events is going to be extremely unlikely if you look at enough events. Showing off low probabilities is like a magic trick. An extremely crappy one.

remember guys, this is stadium 2. youtuber bikdiponabus missed with thunder 6 times in a row (0.0729% chance of happening) in his stadium gym castle stream. if the game wants you to lose, it will do it no matter how hard you try. im surprised stadium 2 is beatable with rentals, stadium 1 feels just barely possible while stadium 2, which has much worse rentals, just seems impossible
