I cannot stand when workmen are in the house - and items are out of their place! But it is so worth it in the end! Loved Wilf at the car wash! I dog sat for a friend once and took him thru the car wash - he jumped in my lap terrified!!!

I don't tolerate chaos well so your furniture upheaval would drive me bonkers. I do love going through the carwash and I pay a monthly fee which allows me to go every day if I choose. A clean car brings me joy. Actually, a clean anything brings me joy. Gayna, I just know you are going to get over £5,000.

I cant take the disruption either when when we are decorating or remodeling. Everyday family life has to go on, thats what is the challenge.

*NOTE* Amazon sales large cup holders for cars... they fit in your existing car cup holders and are made to fit oversized cups. Their wonderful!

We love the car wash too. Ours is a no touch wash and has neon lights. Gayna you bring such joy to my day. I look forward to every vlog!

I’m exactly the same. Live in a tiny cottage and had my kitchen and bathroom refurbished. It was a total nightmare and eventually broke down in tears after the electrician made a mess of the new kitchen cabinets. Felt such a fool of course. Just to say - you are not alone in this and I currently have a really lovely chap putting up new oak doors all around the cottage and he has set up a workshop in my incomplete extension. All need sanding and adjusting as the cottage is so old (1730s) and all odd shapes and sizes. I’m keeping busy with going through all my yarn and patterns for a clear-out. The gym sounds a lovely idea though and am jealous. All my bits of fitness equipment are exposed to the elements in the garden but at least I have some so mustn’t moan. Lesley xx

I remember being so scared of the car washes when I was a child that I actually would sit on the car floor and cry. :) The car washes were certainly different than they are today. :)

I completely understand your frustration with a muddled house Gayna! It makes me crazy with any sort of disruption! I am a very tidy person and only live in a small bungalow and any upheaval is totally overwhelming! Do a lot of visiting to friends until it’s sorted! Love WW xx

I am not a tidy person and I don’t do well in chaos, I haven’t the natural ability to keep a place neat without working hard at it. So imagine my muddle when I’m in a pickle!

I laughed so much in the car wash at the end, Wilfs glasses askew and your faces...so funny. I drink Oat milk, it has a fairly neutral taste, your cuppa tea sounded delish xx

Gayna!!!I know what u mean,,,,about upheaval,,,,,!! We renovated years🏝🕌🏘ago,,,while we both worked,,,and my husband worked on it on weekends,,,, The kitchen was a mess for 9 MONTHS!! Worth it in end,,but good job we both were gone all day!!! Crazy,,,!!it will get better,,,,, Elaine🏡🏡🏡

I totally get the overwhelm when things are upside-down, I always feel that way when things are messy or we're decorating. It can trump up feelings of instability in earlier life and can feel traumatic. I love car washes, youngest got his first can in July and wanted me to go with him because he was unsure of what to do. That was lovely to go with him ❤️ xx

We are in the middle of repainting our bedroom and putting down new flooring too. Every room has items ‘temporarily stored’, waiting until we can put our room back together. I’ve decided to look on the bright side - cleaning is impossible, so I’m just going to turn my back, look out the window at the snow gently falling, and knit. That will save my sanity 🙂

I just sat thinking I needed to ask what car you drive (I’m looking into going electric after the private lease on my current car ends in may 2023) when you told us. I should take my car to the carwash. It’s blue but you barely can tell, last time i washed it was in July, by hand and upon closer inspection I didn’t do a very good job….

Oh disruption in your home is the pits . I am procrastinating but it’s wooden floors for our bedroom rather than carpet. I think the collective trauma of the pandemic has made our homes our sacred havens & well dare anything or anyone disrupt them 🤔🤔🤔.

We recently had a new back door fitted so now we need to decorate the kitchen which mean emptying cupboards and I’m not in the mood to do it . I suffer from Februaryisis. In other words being lazy … I need to kick myself up my bottom and get moving ( wouldn’t mind my kitchen is small)

Gayna, you know that I love you, but 12 x £20's isn't £480 sweetie, it's £240 but Emma's bags are just under £50 so that total prize is still nearly £300 quids worth, so definitely worth while taking part. Try not to get too overwhelmed with the work going on in your house. I know that it's easier said than done but If possible try to close your mind to it when you aren't looking at it. The look on your face when Margo started to stick her little face up to yours! 🤣🤣🤣

Please let us help you deal with the Chaos . I love you vlogs and showing us your underbelly tell us you are a real person. Claim a room as yours for escape. Fix up the green house with a chair and table. Also as it becomes warmer make a secret garden spot to sit in. Just don’t leave us.
