This song, this entire album, never fails to make the sun shine on my soul. The feelies were the best.

Such a great song .Possibly the best alternative rock band which remained under appreciated .REM got inspired by the Feelies and so did many others bands

This song reminds me of R.E.M's "Maps and Legends" from Fables. Which also reminds me about why I love it so much. Both songs. Man.... Minor chords....I LOVE EM SO MUCH!

. . . also surprized the Feelies don't have more views, followers, Fans . . . but then again that's always the way it is with Great Art. We're so fortunate to recognize it. I'm convinced the Feelies could be played for Granny and it would be enjoyed.

Gran tema. Sonó a finales de los años 80´s en los mejores locales de Valencia. A horas para ir de tranqui....

This song borrows heavily from House on Highland Ave from the Gun Club, released 5 years before. Both are great songs though

I have the promo on vinyl and cd. Too bad these guys never took off. There were two other songs on it, Everyone But Me and My Monkey and I can't remember the other one. Guess I better go dig it out.

Good song. Really similar to This Time Tomorrow by the Kinks though.
@alcoholya9 жыл бұрын
John Berger yerp, same three chords.. but I wouldn't say it's really similar though. Maybe slightly similar? Inspired by at best.
@geneburgers9 жыл бұрын
Machete Moonlight I don't want to suggest the Feelies copied it, but it is REALLY similar. Like not just chords, but progression and hook too. You can sing This Time Tomorrow right over top of it and it works.

John Berger you might be right.. I need a good drunk night or two comparing the two songs.. :)
