In old FASA TNG manuals, there was a Klingon warship that was outfitted with "Transwarp" nacelles (read - Excelsior), as the ship was a product of Fed-Klingon tech trading (and well before the lore that the Transwarp was a failure)

If you cloak, well they can see the smoke trail lol. just saying.. The Titan, Riker and Boimler's double ''Will'' are giving you a hard time.. 😲Nicely done Admiral.. gosh.. and close match with the ships.. This just makes me want to see that Federation/Klingon hybrid Defiant-type ship again as I really thought that was a much cooler merger of their respective tech and build philosophies.

I imagine the Felkor comes from a timeline where Qo'noS wasn't able to recover from the destruction of Praxis and was rendered uninhabitable, leading to an exodus of Klingons into other parts of the Empire and into the Federation, eventually leading to the admission of the Klingon Empire into the United Federation of Planets in the 24th Century, possibly during the TNG era, which the Romulan Tal Shiar would have tried desperately to prevent. The Felkor would have been one of the first joint projects of the newly enlarged Federation to battle the Borg and eventually the Dominion.

The paint on the Felkor looks Romulan. I guess the ship has a bit of every major power.

The Felkor is definitely a unique design. I gotta say I like it as well. I agree the Titan is the clear victor in this match up. I gotta confess I didn't like the Titan when it was first revealed after that contest was over. The design has since grown on me a lot and I really wish we had an official model of it. Sometime I hope to get a 3D printed version of it. It's just an awesome ship. I thought the back story is that the original Titan had been severely damaged in battle and was deemed unsalvageable and thus decided to build a new Titan and put a lot of the original components in the new one.

There is a new official release of Star trek ships coming out soon. The Titan-A is the first release. So, hopefully we get Rikers titan. It's by fanhome 🖖

According to the Star Trek: Picard Logs, the Titan was pulled from service in 2398 after suffering extensive damages. The Titan's successor, the USS Titan-A would be commissioned four years later in 2402 under the command of Captain Liam Shaw.....great as all ways RB 😊

funnily enough, there's an older TECH SCHEMATIC files of something like this, the logic being since the Klingons had lower quality crystals for their warp drives ,.. their NACELLES were more efficient, THIS! seems a reversal of that protocol (understand this vessel had a GALAXY class saucer section, with equivalently sized Bird of Prey wings on either side "this, putting the Nacelles SO FAR APART!"...long range sensors picked them up as TWO! vessels flying in tandem) as well as having disruptors on the winglets to complement the saucer phaser arrays, QUITE! an out of bounds idea!

Its actually really suprising we dont see more hybrids, so many ships get in catastrophic battles far from the federation. You would think such creative engineers would make do.

To be honest I am surprised we don't see Klingons merge more federation parts with their own ships. Can you imagine hybrid Klingon ships over the years with parts from the Connies and other ships they had captured through damage?

I think the only reason Starfleet recycled parts of the Titan for the Titan-A is Riker's massive Jazz collection, it was cheaper to just transfer the whole computer core than to transfer all the mp3s
