just got a limited CE24 satin from local dealer, priced the similar as an american standard strat. One of the best purchase ever!!

I have this exact guitar and color. I also have a core 24 with 59/09 pickups and had a core with 85/15 pickups. I love my CE just as much as my core. They look similar, really don't sound the same at all that's why I have both. The CE is brighter, clearer, and punchier; whereas my core is warmer and fuller sounding. I think the CE is built just as well as my core. I know that the top is shallower but I don't care... I like that it doesn't look the same as my core. The flame is insanely beautiful in the CE. The new CE is one of the most underrated guitars out there because it's cheaper than the core... but in reality it's one of best sounding and playing guitars in the world. It's funny how big of a deal people make about a shallower top but don't complain about the plain flat tops on strata, tele, etc. And you can always buy an old CE with full carved top of your really want one. Except you would get the old school nightmare tuners, switching, and pickups... which is why I bought the new. The older models also used alder wood which gives you a different tone... but still sound great.

I just bought a CE24 as well. The neck feels amazing. Normally I prefer thicker necks, but the shape of the neck seems to help. The shoulders are relatively broad so I find that I don't miss the thickness of my other guitars.

I mostly agree with what you say - I own a PRS CE Semi-Hollow CC in Dark-Cherry sunburst with a black neck. (I also own a Fujigen Expert Elan and an Ibanez.) Everything on the PRS is wonderful. Oh, stop, not everything... the 3-way toggle switch is something that will be replaced in the near future with a higher quality one. Might be possible that the tone and volume potentiometer will follow. These 3 are not on the same level as the rest of the guitar. Beside of that, that guitar is wonderful playable and wonderful looking at. My nicest and best one!

I own the same with same finish. It is more enjoyable to play than my custom 22. Pups were replaced with Seymour Duncans

I have the same guitar, i don't feel the neck is not as thin as i thought. I like it but is not thin, almost same as a fender player but wider.

Here in Canada the ce is 3000$ and a core is 6000$. Is the core really worth the extra 3000$?

It was a Sweetwater exclusive back in 2017. I had same one until I hurt my back and had to sell it for medical bills 😪
