My gripe with scale model of cars with intercoolers has always been they are unable to get the scale of the intercooler channels and fins sized properly. Mostly this is due to manufacturing limitations I have seen waterblocks for cooling purposes with fins as fine as 0.2mm across.....perhaps it will cross over to scale model manufacturing one day

It is the first new age V8 Ferrari for sure..with limited production, but the v12 F50 is more "traditional" Ferrari and better looking...in my opinion 😉

Someone that owns a F40. Obviously, because they don't drive the real one so they play with this one. 😅

If I owned the real one, rest assured this one would sit beside it encased in glass and nicely illuminated. Or probably alongside a corridor with the models of all the other cars I would own. Rich people stuff.

@@AmalgamCollection they certainly are works of art. I'm sure it takes an experienced and dedicated craftsman to build one of these. I would be tempted to put one of those miniature working V-8's in one!

this is 90% 3d printed...! the F40 from Centauria is far superior to this in quality and details for 10% of the price! You can get 3d files of the F40 on the internet so... what is this?
@Kabodanki28 күн бұрын
what is wrong with 3d printed parts ?
@AmalgamCollection28 күн бұрын
Whilst we do use 3D printing, to claim it is 90% of our craft is disparaging to our artisans, who invest enormous amounts of time and skill into each model.
@carlover118col27 күн бұрын
@@AmalgamCollectionCan't beleive you charge 20K for that lmao
@MotoMUSEUM27 күн бұрын
@@Kabodanki absolutely nothing. But it should be priced accordingly. I 3d print my 1:8 cars and work on them meticulously. The result is better than Amalgam at a fraction of the cost. Ready-made models in 1:8 by Hachette, IXO, MOdelspace, and Centauria are maybe 98% as good as Amalgam and can be improved easily to better detail and finish. Again for less than 10% of the cost. #d printed parts are also not as durable as one might think. Resin warps with time.
