I seriously question the mentality that finds a way to favour a Fiat Punto over a Ferrari F40. '...On next week's show we look at the downside of winning the £150,000,000

@@AGboi7 its not even that. People started to realise that they could make a serious return with investing classic and modern hypercars. Hence why so many classics collect dust in a garage and are driven maybe once a year a best. For instance, a zonda 7.3s had an asking price of around £280k back in 2001/2002. now you'd need several million, thanks to collectors wanting one offs or special editions.

This car reminded me of my 97 civic base model. I used to wrestle with my steering wheel to turn it around and the A/C would never work no matter how many time i get it fixed. Imagine driving that car in 40 degree celsius 🥵😩

So what if it's a pig to drive around cities. It's a lot more fun than a gym workout and a sauna. Plus the punto is worth a few pounds and the F40 has increased 1 million pounds in value.

0:11 No matter how much you try, that lie will never be true. No independent test ever got the F40 over 200 mph. Only the Ferrari-funded Quattroroute magazine published a top speed over 200 mph; nobody else got it beyond 197.

AMS (German car magazine) took 2 F40 to Nardo (high speed ring in Italy), both did 321 km/h which should be 200,6 mph. And Nardo is a ring, so this has even a negative impact

The first F40 made in 87 go above 220mp/h and 0-100 in 3,2s , the problem with the F40 was the stupid laws in the USA and the UK that limited the power of the car in cars made from the end of 87, the first 20 or 25 manufactured in 87 had more than 650hps and were even lighter the following had limited power and increased weight for that shit!

This was one of the worst Supercar DVD's back in the day. Martin Brundle is was so noncholant and dull when reviewing these cars. He didnt drive any of them at ten/tenths and it was really obvious in the footage, you can see and hear it in the revs. Someone like Tiff Needell drifts everything no matter how fast/expensive a car is (including F40s), Brindle drives everything at 60-70%. His comments about some of the greatest cars of all time are just weird, the way he describes the F40 on track is like its a very average sports car, not one of the maddest, most admired and praised supercars ever made. In this DVD he drove cars like the F40, McLaren F1, Diablo GT, XJ220, Murcielago and he was dull about them all. And before anyone tries to say 'hes an ex-F1 driver, roadcars feel slow after that...' - Tiff Needell was also an F1 driver and hes driven just about every supercar ever made yet hes still so exciting to watch and the feedback he gives is spot on. Unlike this guy.
