I think that with this game, they intend for the person who goes second in fast money to see the questions the first time around. In the normal version, they give the second person more time in case they guess the same answer for a question and need more time to think. The video game version gives less time for the second person, which makes me think they expect the second person to have already seen the questions and have had time to think of answers already.

I see both point of views, but I like it this way because it really punishes the losing team. What is the point of spending the first 40 minutes of answering questions just for the losing team to win in Fast Money because they got to see all of the questions? The show has two people from the winning family come together to do fast money. This game has people from two different teams. If you want the advantage, you have to win the games before hand. Now if we ONLY played Fast Money, I would contend that maybe the second player should be able to see the questions so they can prepare (since they lose out on answering some of the real gimme questions) But as it stands now, there should be a penalty for losing the first segment of the show. Fast Money is a chance to have a comeback, not an even playing field.

But it won't ever be an even playing field, because the team that goes first has the advantage of locking in the the top answers, keeping the second team from being able to catch up. I'm not saying everyone is able to actually achieve that advantage, but it is still an advantage.

I (wasn’t but) might have answered oranges if I’d been asked. We used to hang oranges with cloves stuffed into the peel, as an air freshener from the old days, on our tree. It’s an old tradition, but it is one. We later used hot water and orange peels (heated on our gas heating stove) around the holidays, as it really does make the house smell a nice orange smell, but that turned into a year-round thing, and was later abandoned, as filling the constantly boiling pot was adding too much moisture to the air, and the peels made the pot grimy when it ran out of water. I might suggest that again this Christmas. It’s a great Christmas scent.

They already get help with the less time problem, as you have seen Speedy managed his time well because he immediately backed down of an answer when Chilled warned him it was already taken. Cheesy just didn't listen to the signal that's why he couldn't answer all the questions. In the real show the second contestant is not present there when they answer the questions, it doesn't matter that the "character stays there", would absolutely make it no fun if people didn't go through this "don't write the same thing" phase which is funny. At best they should get more time, that's all, which Chilled is actively helping with by playing the alert sound. Speedy won, even with the unfair "peas" answer with 90+ points, which proves it's doable like this. It still feels like a fair penalty that they get disadvantaged because of losing the first round. It's almost perfect as it is. Just think about it, the charm of it is the player's FIRST reaction to the question, that's what creates all the funny answers. If they had 2 minutes to think about it in a moment where they are supposed to keep quiet because the other person is doing the answering, we do not get their first, raw reaction. It would literally kill the fun of the game, there would be no point to the second team even being able to play that round. I think they do it in a great and fun way as it is

@@AndrewArts Yeah but in the real game you aren't typing out your answers, you just shout them out, so you have plenty of time. Typing takes much more time when you have to retype your answers on a repeat. Second team should get more time if they can't see the previous taken answers. In my mind, it's not that they're playing it poorly, it's that Ubisoft shouldn't have made a cooperative endgame segment into a winner takes all versus segment.
