I cried.... Here in Brazil, despite the diversity of fish, I will never know the sensation of fishing trouts like you guys. Congratulations!!!!

Rolf, of all your videos I've watched, I must say that your Field Coffee series is my favorite. Your choice in music for this series is a big key, not to mention the cinematic style of your video shots. I have never been into fishing but through watching camping and overlanding videos, your channel came up on my feed and I can't say enough how you've single-handedly shown how fly-fishing is an art. And I am enthralled with it now. You brought the same feeling to me that I got when watching the film A River Runs Through It, an appreciation for the art of fly-fishing. I enjoy the scenery, the music, the storytelling, and, as much as he rubs you the wrong way sometimes, I love Havard, lol. He's such a character. Please, continue mesmerizing us with your art. And show more coffee brewing!!!

Caught my first trout on a dry fly in the 1970’s and it still is thrilling, it will last these men until they breath their last breath. Good show. A detached Badger is watching you from the undergrowth.

Rolf, I have spent over 50 years on the rivers, I can now allow my friends and family what it means to me. I simply show them the footage of your journeys, that we, with a rod in our hand, all understand but may not be able to explain. Thank you.

Great film. I love how I got wrapped up in the hunt for one fish. Too many films are run-and-gun, and fail to slow down and allow the dance between a fisherman and his mark to play out much like it does in real life. Well shot, well edited, and mostly, well written. Excellent ending, too; that "doubt" is something with which I think we can all identify. It's what keeps up coming back, brother. Can't wait to watch the rest of the series. Keep it up!

Such a special moment. The anticipation, the buildup, the take, the uncertainty of the fight. Will it be brought to hand? Is the knot good enough? Is the fish hooked well enough. Everyone knows there is no celebration until the fish is in the net. We've all lost them within arms reach. This is the magic of fly fishing. High stakes, high reward. Brilliant filming as always Rolf.

the nuances in these films are perfect. There will always be a harder fighting or bigger trout, so our journey ever ends, it is never fully satisfied when there is another river to fish.

I just walked the same plains, scouted the same river for rising trout and tasted the nutty flavor of lemel coffee on wood fire. A video is to share the experience and yours did just that. Thank you.

I live in America. We have plenty of blue-ribbon trout rivers here. Yet I always seem to watch European-made flyfishing videos. Why is that?
