@triofdoom Page 118 of 3rd & a Mile,in response to 3:45-55 here, Harold Jackson said,"I admired how James Harris stood in pocket & threw the ball. You run shallow crossing route with shorter QB & the ball comes at you like it's leaving a tunnel, surprises you.But Harris stood like a pole,as tall as the offensive line,so his ball was very easy to catch.Everybody says he threw hard but he didn't.He had great touch on his ball.He threw go route, fade & comeback better than any QB I played with"

@@dwightlove3704 the most overrated position in all sports, simply because whites were the ones who were playing it. And trust me in 68 when job namath and the Jets beat the Colts , you would have thought that Joe namath was playing for the other teams with all the interceptions he threw just like all of the rest of the white quarterbacks, just look at the history , no wonder they said defense win 🏆 championship because quarterbacks were not, besides it a teams sport. Not tom Brady B.S Dan Marino didn't win. That's why they got fantasy 🏈 now, which I hate, and not that racism kind of hate , that's a whole other ball game if you know what I mean !

@@footballrealist4024 I see your obvious point yes white guys were treated as if they were the FINISHED PRODUCT once they entered the NFL and that was not the case most were runners in their early years ppl like Fran Tarkenton didn't have enough size to play the position like James Harris,Doug Williams.Roger Staubach wanted to be a running QB but Tom Landry broke him out of his tendencies to run. When it came to Namath and his teammates ppl who saw SBIII felt that MATT SNELL should have been the MVP the only reason for Namath winning was because of his statement that he guaranteed a win over the Colts and Colts DT Bubba Smith said numerous times that the game was fixed because of plays the Colts had success using prior to the game vs The Jets they failed on.Unitas had he been the starter for the Colts they would have won.And when it came to INTERCEPTIONS their was the game vs The Broncos or the Bills Namath threw FIVE PICKS and he was screamed on by his teammate DE GERRY PHILBIN on the team bus PHILBIN told Namath he said "Hey Namath next week we are wearing GREEN" this was said in a documentary about the Jets('68) leading up to the win over the Colts in SBIII.Philbin wasn't afraid of chastising BROADWAY JOE.Yes in some cases defense does play a role in the success of a team but you need to score points to keep both sides of the ball from arguing with each other.

Warren Moon was a team leader and one who audibilized more than any QB in the league. In Houston, always changing offenses had no negative effect on Moon,as Moon had three different head coaches and five different offensive coordinators in his fiest seven years as an Oiler.Moon was mobile & intelligent,Moon learned to throw the ball away, keep the ball low in a crowd, and would adjust when LBs took deeper drops. With lazer-like release,Moon could zip it or lay it between defenders,or throw on the run
