In a world of darkness, there will be constant roller-coaster of twists, turns, and uncertainty. I love that the different "rooms" or tests that the main character had to face kept the listeners wondering whether the battles were truly over or not. Someone complained about the repetitive use of certain words. But. In darkness. Repetitive attacks create an even greater sense of dread. It's no different from playing a video game. That's the way I perceived it. The echoes of evil never play by the book. Repetitive doors, tunnels, or even running but then ending up back at square 1 have been used in movies. But I also caught that each test had a completely new setup that the main character had to face. It made sense to me. As stated in this story, darkness can never be destroyed. This was also stated in movies such as the matrix, exorcist, blade, war games, underworld, as well as many stephen king classics. This had me guessing how the dark entity would try to convince the main character to finally submit and allow himself to be used as a vessel for evil. The beast consistently appears wherever he was. It makes you wonder if the beast lied from within. Could the beast be a manifestation of a seed within his soul? Great story that reflects reality. 🌐🌌
