As a Canadian I didn't have any interest in the civil war period. One visit to Gettysburg on a motorcycle trip and this place got under my skin. What an amazing town. You can really feel the history there. I have been a civil war buff ever since I rode through this area and walked through the Devils den area .I highly recommend traveling to this area but look into it before you go, there are multiple ways to see the battlefields.

WOW….What an amazing job they have done of restoring that area. A cleanup job and preservation , restoration Job to the land itself. Beautiful, amazing, Great job. I definitely think %💯 that keeping it all as close to how it was during the battle is the best option to keep people even more interested in wanting to see it and come see it in person for ourselves. So that we can get as close a feel as possible, to attempt to see it as clearly as possible. Really such A Great job of cleaning things up around there. Recent videos already look so different. Great job with clean up & preservation. Thank you.

I enjoy your cadence, and your knowledge and enthusiasm, but your manner of speaking fits for me. I’m a southerner and I’d expect nothing less than a northerner to give me a tour of Gettysburg. It adds to the authenticity I think. The same as I’d expect a southerner to give a tour of a southern battlefield.

No, Garry, don't give up coffee and don't go de-caf. After listening to so many of your videos now, I can actually say I've grown used to the auctioneer's delivery, and prefer it now to a normal person droning on interminably. Don't change a thing. We are told the names of the 5 color bearers that were killed. We are shown the blood on those colors. Of the 1000 MN that volunteered. 995 were casualties in the War. It was determined 3 were yellow. We were taught their names as well. We are proud to be Minnesotans because of the 1st. Thank you
