After 65 yrs 1955-2022 they are making a movie about Emmett Till and its called Till and finally his story is being told. Emmett Till's death wasn't in vain now and he is telling his story and Mamie Till fighting for her son till the very end. She was a very strong woman back in 1955. I am so glad that Emmett Till's story is finally being told. RIP EMMETT TILL!

1:11 Watching them cross that Edmund Pettus Bridge and just knowing that it’s still named that when it should’ve been changed to John Lewis Bridge before he recently passed is disheartening. Rosa, Dr. King, Emmett, Mamie are all heroes and still wear that invisible cape till this day.

If I was Emmett Till I hope he haunts Bryant family for the rest of their lives especially Carolyn Byrant and she is alive and now Emmett's Story is finally being told on the big screen. Its co produced by Whoopi Goldberg and I hope it gets noticed b/c this was a true story about a 14 yr old boy being killed just because he whistled. Truly heartbreaking***

Emmett DID haunt them for the rest of their miserable lives!! Bryant and Milam's brother, Leslie, who helped torture and murder Emmett, made a deathbed confession admitting his role in the murder, and he told his minister that he had not had a peaceful day since the murder!! Bryant was interviewed about the murder on the 30th anniversary of Emmet's death and he said, "I'm tired of taking about Emmett Till! He's dead, why can't he just stay dead!! Emmett Till ruined my life!!"

Fort Bragg, 1955. Day room, 64th Headquarters, 20th Engineers. A flickering television carried the trial of the Emmett Till killers. The jury, the judge, the gallery were chummy with the accused. There were smiles and even laughter during the procedure. In the room with me was an African American Green Beret. When the trial was over I said: “ I hope to God we don’t go to war because we will be shooting each other instead of the enemy.” He said: “ I’d like you to meet my captain! We have lots of dedicated people in Indochina,” Since that meant a short discharge and a reup for six years minimum...and my knowledge that I could not endure the training...I passed. He never showed his feelings about the spectacle we just witnessed. Sergeant Moore. I hope he survived Viet Nam.

Shut the hell up!!! No its not time to move on. The surviving family members of Emmett Till and Mamie Till-Mobley still deserve justice and deserve to have their day in court. That hateful lieing racist old geriatric looking woman Carolyn Bryant deserves to be arrested and to serve the rest of her golden years in prison until she dies and comes out in a pine box. Carolyn Bryant lied and said Emmett Till touched her and put his hands on her, then she admitted she lied decades letter that Emmett Till never touched her. I don't care if Carolyn Bryant is in her eighties. The lying racist hag deserves to be in prison and I have no issue with it at all!!!!

Mamie Till Mobley said; "I sent my son down there to be protected by my family. Instead they betrayed him." There was bad blood between Mamie and the Wright family after Emmett's death. There are hundreds of appearances by Mamie Till Mobley over the years. None of them picture Mamie with any of the Wright family.

@@rucianapollard7098 That is correct. There was bad blood between Mamie and all of the Wrights. There was bad blood between Mamie and Elizabeth Wright, Mose's wife and sister to Crosby Smith, Mamie's uncle. They were both gracious. Mamie never spoke badly against the Wrights in all of her public appearances and documentaries. And neither did Simeon and Wheeler speak badly of Mamie.
