Ik everyone thinks it’s horrible for the game to be $70 bucks. Yes it’s a little pain, but in all honesty coming from someone who loves the game so much, and is not able to play the actual card game because where I stay are card shops don’t play vanguard. I’m not complaining! So happy I get to finally play with the decks I’ve always wanted to play with, and being able to battle others online🔥

Same. My lgs carries only the Overdress starter decks and charges triple for them. With this game I'll be able to play several different decks and also face opponents online

I tested out the physical card game literally 10 years ago now. After LOVING Shadowverse & Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel I recently thought "How about Vanguard?". I couldn't get into it back then but with a new mindset I have come to really like the mechanics of Vanguard. The game seems less stressfull compared to Shadowverse and especially Yu-Gi-Oh!. I have always struggled to play multiplayer games where you go 1v1 (no matter what I do I become very nervous and I start swetting bad) but Vanguards mechanics seems so less punishing and more fair. As far as I know you can't one shot anyone on turn 1 like in Yu-Gi-Oh!. The game seems more fair and future proof. But no way am I spending 60$ on this even though I know I would enjoy it immensely. So the wait for the summer steam sale continues! I can see myself enjoying playing this against real people. Hopefully it turns out to be true.

I like how those AIs just slaps you double crit if you no guard while on 3 damage. The game applies plot armour as there should be.

i walked into the mika fight with the default kairi deck. and then realised she has a built one. so many anime moments happened in that fight. both of us getting saved by the over triggers, me getting 2 heal triggers in a row at 5 damage (no d-skills btw) it was nuts.

I could honestly see messiahs being untouched as far as locking goes from G , thing is like chronojet you can purposely delay a ride ( if you go first ) to prevent their stride and then go full force once they are on g3 ( or if using g4s just ride g3 and attack by itself ) and if its like chronojet with time leap not many cards will probably lock opponents stuff ( most of the stuff in the LJ TD's were on hit if they touched the opponents board ) best i could see us getting that's somewhere in the costless range would be arrestor which is itself and a backrow and then the other stuff would probably revolve around self locking ( like lady battler ) They have a high chance of alter ego being the only thing ( that's not on hit if we get them ) to lock front row rears , where as the others will focus on locking themselves with the strides being the things that unlock them ( im betting amnesty is one of our strides ) i agree that locking is powerful but unlike chaos , messiahs only front row locking actually came from strides and the stride bonus units. Duskblade i think was one of the only rears that actually could lock ( in messiahs ) the opponents front row rears

A bit of shame the main story doesn't proceed with an alternate dialogue or even scene when you lose (at least outside forced fight(s)). Keeping winning streak is cool and all, but would've been cool to see other character's reaction when they beat you and how the story would've gone from there.

Honestly don't know if he doesn't run a way to recycle Obscers back to deck but I basically lucked out by them damage checking an Obscer, calling out two more and I just started killing them. It was a loooong fight though and a huge spike in consistency compared to his Eugene

I found Mika to be harder, and i was not using exactly a good deck. I was using my favourite, Zorga, and was using a bt 02 version, since it unfortunately needs rrr from all the first 4 sets. I finally got the g1 rrr, now working on the shadowcloaks. Edit: "hard" to "harder"

Hey guys, am I doing something wrong with Seraph Snow's ability? It should imprison 2 rear guards on the field but I noticed it only imprisons 1 sometimes?

It imprisons up to 2, so you have to make sure you select both separately otherwise it’ll only take the 1

Oh man, my experience against Thegrea was...nothing like this. I've fought her twice now and both times, I won before she could actually hit Grade 3. Either her deck's really low on shield or I'm just somehow the god king of space, time, and Critical Triggers

I dunno what you mean from OG but it has all the D-standard cards up to Set 5. Also has Promos so you can play decks like Eva with both research cards atm.

Dear day should be in mobile platform replacing zero, imagine run out grade 1 because too busied using it to guard, and use overdress abilities and stride at the same time. Or having 50 card including stride instead 35 card in the deck. And you don't have to spend gacha ticket or gems to open gacha, but using vp to buy pack or something, vp that you get from fighting in rank fight or character fight. since the fact that I think Zero can provide gameplay base for Overdress, even if Zero make overdress probably they make third shop and making huge change in deck making option (Kagero, Narukami, etc. replacing or merge into Dragon Empire, allowing player using all card from those deck. Imagine you can use nouvelle trigger cancel, and voltage horn dragon to bind card. Forcing opponent unable using heal trigger and stopping them put back into deck at once.) And I think if Zero planning adding G guard, they should adding heal trigger as stride fodder for G guard with abilities if perfect guard and heal didn't work, use heal guard to stride into G guardian. and if Zero planning adding overdress to the game, I think they should give option in playmat like, choose mat format: G playmat or Overdress playmat. and reissues overdress skin with Overdress medal like G medal.

I was kinda sad to see that you weren't able to MAKE your character for online play. BUT, seeing as, I assume, you're rewarded for playing through the "story mode" with characters to play in the online mode, that's kinda nice. Not worth $70 bucks tho.
