One thing that's hilarious about the event fight is that you are coded to not hit triggers. I used Hexaorb to see if I could cheese it after I saw the event fight thing, and at one point I stacked Crit, Crit on top, using Olwein and G3 order, and then when I went to battle phase my triggers were literally Hexaorb, G3 Order. So it literally auto stacks your top deck to be bad and his to pretty much always be triggers.

Random question but did you have any of the trigger ex powers on at the time, maybe that messed you up idk.

@@pokelogikx nope had VP skill. But it makes sense because the Trigger skills are coded to randomly insert cards to top deck, for example playing Hexaorb one time I stacked OT on top with Olwein and then Draw trigger skill activated my first check was Draw trigger and I drew OT RIP. So during this fight you probably have a hidden like "no triggers skill" that is probably constantly filtering your top deck for non triggers during checks.

I wonder what D skill Kanji is using, since now that I've beaten story mode I've seen all the D skills and the specific D skills that get rid of an opponent getting a trigger are usually only when they are at 4 and such. But there's also one that disables an opponents D skill so I wonder if we're supposed to actually use that in the final fight with him.

Tbh if you have a competent deck and know how to play it well you can beat the majority of the AI fight without too much issues, and Chris definitely knows his stuff. Still of course some losses are inevitable given how much the AI sacks triggers.

I want, more than anything, to see what happens if you win the fight against Kanji. I got so close against him, pushing him to 5 damage with Flagburg. But it’s so hard to get him there because the game rejects giving you triggers.

why can't you use it anyway? I just do wingal-marron-blaster dark-gramgrace. Or the NPC uses wingal-blaster jav.-blaster dark-grimgrace, it seems her deck wants to somewhat side on the dark paladin theme from her NPC deck. either way she seems to mix royal/dark paladin together and her ace is just grimgrace and works fine, even though the line to get there might be wonky

Keter has alot of generic support so you can make Gramgrace work even without a dedicated ride line. The Blaster ride line is a good substitute.

I’m wrecking all the Game exclusive and Overdress characters with Aichi, Kai, and Ren right now. The DLC makes the game truly worth it. It was so satisfying to burn friggin Mika in the flames of Dragonic Overlord four straight times. Two on Normal and two on Hard lol

I wonder what happen if you turbo soul charge with Baro and the D skill that soul charge normal cards. Will the event fight overrides the D skill, will the event fight change your deck once you deck thin until only triggers are left in deck or will you start sacking once you deck thin?

If the deck feels as though you will start hitting triggers it will automatically make all your hand draws and soul charges the trigger units.

G is easily the peak. V started strong but then was crawling to the finish. Overdress started awful and now I have no clue because so little shops want to carry it.

The youtubers making it seem like the game is still growing, but the 2nd hand market is getting so small and expensive making it difficult to get in. It's getting awfully familiar. On a side note during the G Era was the biggest player base was it not?
