**Note** I tested making an offline mission beyond the red ring (you have to have one inside the ring first) with the X8 V2... It worked flawlessly when executed.

This is so much better than the DJI drones, with most of those on waypoint missions if it loses signal it will return to home and not continue on the waypoint mission.

The waypoints on this are pretty decent. I love the fact you can save them and fly exactly the same route!

The Waypoint Mission Planners (all brands) are a much overlooked resource for so many variations of flight.. from mapping, surveying, Timelapse, Hyperlapse & Panorama.. to seasonal time comparisons and more.. tons of fun.

It is so odd to read a comment from Canada about the summer heat, while watching a tropical downpour sweep the Equatorial forest around me here in the Third World boonies. Enjoy the balmy weather while you can sir, especially since those clear skies are ideal for our hobby of drone flying. All too soon The Great White North will live up to its wintry name, and it'll be time to bundle up again amid the flurries. Speaking of the Red Circle of Death, I finally sold my Fimi X8 2020 entirely due to that 1 km distance cap for Fimi waypoint missions. All the same, your mention of a work-around solution brought me back out of curiosity. Who knows, if that red circle is eliminated, I may yet decide to buy another Fimi quadcopter in the none-too-distant future. That'll be enough pontificating from me for now. Over and out.

I appreciate you comments. Firstly.. here in Southern Ontario.. winters have been getting warmer and warmer. Summers are getting warmer and more humid. Gone are the -30C to -40C week long winter spells in February and this year I had my snow blower out maybe 4-5 times.. Things are changing. On the Red Ring front.. Making missions offline is the key.. especially on their Mini series. As for a future Fimi purchase for you.. the Fimi Mini 3 does have a better camera. Who knows what theor new Tele drones will produce. Thanks again.

Hi GM, those Fimi Mini 3 Plus batteries are a very tight fit. I sometimes need to use a dull butter-knife to pry the batteries out a little to be able to remove them. I even have one Plus battery where it only goes in half way. Squeezing the drone top and bottom lets the battery go in. Maybe this is an issue for all the Fimi Mini 3's?

You can only add POI points if you use "Free" mode not "route" mode.

I've got a Mini X8 V2, programmed route outside circle offline. Tried to fly it and it wouldn't go saying it was outside of circle...?

Very interesting... I will have to try it with my V2. I did notice another glitch.. might be just the V2 as well.. If you recall a history mission.. and you try to add a POI.. it will boot you out and restart the App.

X8se 2022 v2 would go outside the circle, why ,feline and really fly it

I just tested it.. I made a 7 point mission offline in the X8 V2. 4points inside 1km and 3 well beyond.. Then I went outside and started the X8 Mini V2 up and recalled the mission from History. I flew it with no problem.

After the latest update, I noticed that in the Flight records during replay flight distance is missing from the screen, should be to the right of flight height. Is something wrong with my app or did FIMI remove it?

Good find... Also notice the speed telemetry is gone. I posted in the Fimi forum and emailed them

I was contacted by FIMI about this issue and provided my drone serial number and screen shots of current app flight data and a previous version. I also mentioned the missing Vertical and Horizontal speed telemetry.
