She stopped the transfer with a different gesture this time around. Every other time I can think of, she made a downward -sliding- slicing motion through the magic, cutting the connection and dropping the witches dead. This time, she made a shoving/pushing motion back to Billy, and you could see a brighter "ball" of energy leave her and go back to him, unplugging instead of cutting the line. If I'm right about that, she's always had the ability to leave witches alive, she just never wanted to.

@@abydosianchulac2 I also speculate Billy had a larger reserve than other witches. Poor Alice barely moved the needle in giving Agatha even a fraction of her original power level despite Alice gave everything up. Billy here was able to power Agatha up by himself and still had some leftover.

@@al3220 Yep. Agatha also drained Wanda for quite a while without killing her (albeit it was a ploy to trap Agatha with the runes), probably because the Scarlet Witch has a crazy amount of magical power. Makes sense that the son of Wanda is equally powerful.

There’s a theory she only did it to keep her son alive, that by providing rio with bodies, Nicholas could be kept alive, hence why the one day they stopped killing, Nicholas dies

it is a sound theory without further explanation. another theory I had was the reason she kill witches was to eventually to find someone who is capable of curing him thus she and Nicholas would embrace death on their own term. While Agatha is a witch who was born with a special ability like Lilia was with divination, Alice was with protection magic etc. Just like that Agatha was born with powers through which she can steal all powers and life force of beings who attack on her don't matters it is odin or thor . Odin and thor can't die by it due to longevity but yes they will become normal humans for sure after it. Scarlet witch is the special witch as she has all powers of all witches
